First of all, I agree with one of the comments on the article....Terry didn't get a supoena for this or anything so didn't need to mention it. He gets plenty of attention and publicity as it is. I understand what he's saying though and the message he wants to convey. Back then it was just a normal thing. To them it was like taking creatine today. There was no hiding it or being all secretive about it. It was a casual thing and these guys went to the doc to get patched up and took whatever was in the syringe, trusting what the doctor was doing was best for them. I don't think Terry was like "hey I need some steroids!". This was like smoking cigarettes back then. It was common.
Not condoning what these guys did but alot of people don't understand how times have changed and how things were in that era are totally different from the way they are today when it comes to drugs and medical care.
Damn I'm not even a Steeler's fan! What the heck!
