Yeah, and Jordan became a great right hand player for Pip!
...ok went too far there!

Who would have been Jordan's partner is Pippen wasn't there? Maybe Sir Charles? Nah...

That would have been really interesting to see the two play together in the NBA.

Since you like Pippen, I have to ask your opinion about his nose.

iamhomin, who got scared everytime Pippen's face was on the screen (also Ewing).

I always figured you could probably fit Quarters or Silver Dollars in his nostrils.

I think Derek Fisher should be in that category also.
He is getting what? over $40 mil? I mean he is a pretty solid player, because!!!!!~~~
Kobe & Shaq was there with him!! I think he shouldn't get any more than $15 mil.

Look at those accomplishment...damn Scottie you are the man.

I recently bought a "Chicago Bulls 1990's" oh man, Scottie plays like LeBron James + Carmelo Anthony + Ron Artest ( Defense ), If I had to pick 10 greatest players in NBA he should probably in there right after Barkely. I think Socttie was even better player than Dominique...just my thought.

What's with them raptors?! No one saw this coming... although we'll have to wait and see if VC can play a whole season for once in his life. Laren Woods is playing well, it seems. Good to hear that.

I don't know about ya fellas, but I don't pay any attention to NBA anymore these days.. I used to be a super NBA fan, but I think the quality of the players (entertainment values) have gone down in recent years and it doesn't help the fact that they make bazillion dollars and still whine about the $$$.

As a group, they're probably the least professional of the professional athletes we have today and I can not respect people who are just a primadonnas..

IMO, this is true in every professional sport, except NASCAR. Look at why there is a lockout in the NHL. Both the players and owners are so greedy and in the end, the fans are the ones paying the price.

God, another Kobe hater.

Listen, T-Mac averaged 25+ last season and his team sucked balls. KG's stats were more than amazing in terms of efficiency, but Detroit took the crown, Allen Iverson + Paul Pierce + Nowitzki all had 24+ ppg and all but one had losing records. etc.

Your argument is weak, S Pippen

I'm not saying because Kobe is scoring 30+ a game, the Lakers should win... MJ scored 35+ one season and I don't think the Bulls made the playoffs that year.

The Lakers made so many changes during the offseason, with Kobe wanting the changes, and still they have no chance of being nearly as good as they were last year. Kinda makes you wonder whats more important to him, 30ppg or wins.

Of course they won't be good as last year, strip Shaq off ANY team, even a team with the old MJ, and they will struggle.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm sick and tired of people bashing on Kobe. It's old.

kobe got more game then ps2. kobe along with AI have the most heart in the league. Everyone rips on kobe cuz he got rid of phil and shaq but shoot if you had skills like kobe youd' be sick of the triangle offence and being optioin number 2. You can put mj on the old lakers and i gurantee you that him and shaq would have rifs too.

I want M.J, Bird back in this league...players who actually played their hearts out!
When players outside of the United States are still practicing their jumpers, fundamentals, and work on their teamwork, USA basketball is all about And 1, and AI's crossover and shit. I rather want to see beautiful fade away jumper over defender than dunking over other player.

Its gonna be a frustrating season for the Fakers.

Wow.. look at the point differential for phoenix! +24!
Who knows what's gonna happen to LA they might win Western Conference final
if Lamar keeps playing double - double games, if Brian Grant can rebound like back in 99 when he played Golden State (24 total), if Caron plays like 02-03 season when he was putting 15.4 ppg, if Vlade can stop grabbing teammates haed and grab some board...but that's too many ifs. Ah...Shaq what are you doing in Miami? oh...ye that's right...keep winning...

Unless K-Mart has an attitude, I cant see Denver trading him so soon. Its a good thing that Rick Pitino isnt coaching Denver or K-Mart would have been traded before the season started.

I think there are enough NBA players right now who plays their heart out.

The Lakers made so many changes during the offseason, with Kobe wanting the changes, and still they have no chance of being nearly as good as they were last year. Kinda makes you wonder whats more important to him, 30ppg or wins.
The year that you are referring to is 1986 - 87 and Jordan averaged 37.1 PPG during the regular season and 35.7 during the three game playoffs against the Boston Celtics. That was the year that he scored 64 against Boston. Da Bulls made the playoffs every year of the Michael Jordan era. With a selfish bish like Kobe, those points are more important than winning.

You can put mj on the old lakers and i gurantee you that him and shaq would have rifs too.
They probably would have a rif, but MJ would have handled it in a different way than Kobe did. Remember that even though Jordan was selfish at times, he was always a team player and did his thing within the scheme of the triangle offense and played defense like a demon, all the time, not just when the mood hit him.

In the early years of the triangle, MJ did ignore it. But as the supporting cast got better, and he understood the triangle better, he was able to do what he needed to do within the triangle offense. Plus, he knew when to go outside of the triangle offense when his team needed a basket.

He used his defense as a challenge to himself. If an made an important or spectacular play, MJ would make sure that didnt happen again.
