Nada yet. We need somebody local to bring an RL in to the shop. Problem is that most of our local RL drivers are not looking to upgrade anything in that car.

I bet if you put out an APB on an RL that would get a crazy discount, someone would turn up.

You must be set up near a century village or something

Correct. But for very good reason... you don't need two 12's in a 2008 TL.

A single subwoofer in the correct enclosure with good power is more than most need. However, if you require some major boom there are some good options we can accommodate. A single 12W7. Two 12W3V3. A single Kicker S10L7.

I have a single 8" Kicker L7 in my truck that would blow your mind. But the big deal is that it's completely hidden.

^^^I've often thought about downgrading. I have 2 12's myself but I'm SURE that an L7 in the right uncalledfor enclosure would A) look a lot better B) sound awesome C) free up some space in the trunk D) give me my pass through back.

I love the way these look and I want one to get rid of my sealed 10" box sitting against the rear seat. My problem is I have the battery in that location on one side and a meth tank on the other side. Ill have to find a new spot for that meth tank in the near future to get one of these

Few Q's:

Back when I had my '96 Impala, I went through an extensive view over what's "better" ported vs. sealed and finally made my own custom box (2-12" L7) sealed. But after, wasn't getting what I expected.

-What's better for our cars (3G TL) with this box, most likely a 10"?

-Since it's in the back of the trunk, rear, is there much rattle? Like shall I definitely get sound deadner on the trunk door?

I really like this minimalistic box uncald4 has, but not sure what set-up going for yet.

do you make these ahead of time or do make them by the order b/c I would consider this set up but I would want my sub(s) angling the Cabin not the my trunk

Are these only made for the driver side of the trunk? If I got one it would need to be for the passenger side of the trunk.

Actually, my guess is that from such a distance from the rear seat...you'd feel the bass much better bouncing it off the rear of the trunk and letting the vibrations travel forward.

IIRC, he builds them as you order them based on your requests and specs. I think that since he's a fiberglass guy he either can or has already built a box for either side of the trunk, although I've always seen it on the driver side.

Sealed or ported. Really up to your listening preference. A sealed enclosure will produce much lower bass response than anything else. A ported enclosure will hit harder at it's tuned frequency. But it will not hit as low as a sealed box. With that said, we find that most people prefer a sealed enclosure because of it's even bass response.

There really isn't much rattle in the 3rd Gen TL. Common rattles are from the license plate and the trunk latching mechanism.

We make every enclosure per order. Everyone uses a different subwoofer and we build them to suit the sub.

This discount applied to your box brings it down to $418. Ported 12" in black vinyl.
