I received my key from Marcus, and the Milling was incorrect so it did not even fit in my lock. It would only push the dust cover opened on the lock. I took the key to a locksmith in my area that my father has been going to for the past 10 years and he said that the key was improperly milled. The offset on the milling down the sides of the keys was wrong. I suppose this is why you purchase the cutting insurance (thank heavens I did).

I have a 2005 TL and I sent in my Valet Key. I was disappointed as i had seen all of the good reviews. Hopefully this can be rectified quickly.

Dan, I am trying to understand why you posted this Friday afternoon but waited until Sunday to let me know...

The cutting insurance is not to protect against incorrect milling, that is a product quality issue which we support 100%. We have exchanged a number of messages yesterday and are working out the resolution now.

If you are going to leave poor feedback like this it would be nice if you could follow up and comment on the attentive service we have given you.

Marcus

Cool

I did not wait until Sunday to let you know. I called your service number and left a message for you 15 mins after I received the key. Which was about 2 hours before this post..

Service has been attentive....

I got one of the bad batches but I contacted Mr. Heeltoe and they sent me a return letter to fix it so it was ok. Got the key couple of days ago and it works as it should. I was pissed to get a defective key but they're extremely helpful and solved my issue so I'm very pleased with their product and customer service. *Thumbs up*

So awesome to hear it works! All keys from that batch are either fixed or are being fixed now. No more bad keys will be shipped.

Awesome!

BTW in contrast with that, for us to cut and do chip swap it would be $69 plus postage to send me a key Of course minus the car wash.

MrHeeltoe, I need a new key for my TSX, if I order one from your website; will the unlock/lock feature works? I can swap out the chip myself.

I'm lost with all this milling, chipping and all that. If I have my OEM Key and Remote, I send that to you, and I get a Switchblade key back for how much? All I have is a Key and Remote! All brand new switchblades too correct?

And do I have to go to the dealership to get stuff done and all that?

hello mr heel toe -

i want to get a switchblade key from you cut and programmed and everything else. Do i have to send in my remote too? If i get the key for "Driver 1" will the car still recognize all my settings that are stored?

also what is the time frame on sending in my key and getting one back, i believe i have a valet key that was never used i can send, will that be alright? Thanks!

Why can't you answer my actual question here?

Is there a gen2 CL key yet?

I asked almost two weeks ago. At this point I no longer care but others might.

Seriously I am sorry for not jumping on your questions, but I did put a lot of overtime in my website to make sure these questions are answered at any hour with just a little bit of effort:
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/support/i...pcid=4&nav=0,4

Clicking on "Information on services offered" Leads to here:
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/support/i...id=5&nav=0,4,5

Clicking on "Will a milled key work in your car?" leads to here:
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/support/i...24&nav=0,4,5,8

Which provides this handy link very prominently:
http://www.fastlineperformance.com/f...appmatrix.html

Which will very timely, and I hope clearly, answer your question. I guess you are only 1 year old tho, so I guess I needed to spell it out for you. There is no reason why you need to keep asking this question and then get bummed when I don't answer it when I have provided ample information online!

Marcus

I read this thread & looked at your cumbersome site without finding the answer, then I posted a simple yes or no question here almost two weeks ago, you have finally responded two times with many more than the two or three letters needed to answer a SIMPLE YES OR NO question.

Is this "the superior" service you offer for your high prices?????

I said I was no longer interested in this item before your childish diatribe, now I would not consider anything from your company.

If you are here to alienate potential customers,

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!

GOOD WORK!

Sorry man, I think what it comes down to is we get asked some questions over and over again, and the answers are readily available on the forums and also on my site. I am sorry you find my site cumbersome...maybe unfamiliar is a better term, because it is laid out pretty well, just not something most folks are used to.

Anyway, I don't like falling back on the "search is your friend" blah blah but this question gets asked of me a lot. It is also a complicated one to answer because it is NOT a simple yes or no. Yes the sbk can be made to work in your car! But NO, it will not have complete functionality.

This isn't a debate at all! It is simply you asking a question that I have answered in a offsite location for public viewing, and forgive my reluctance to re-answer it numerous times in this thread and on these forums.

Rest assured, as soon as we have something available for your car we will post in the CL section! Until then, nothing has changed.

As a customer I don't feel the need to learn a seller's processes. I did look, I did search, I did not find the answer, I asked a question, you ignored it. After ten days I asked again, you came back with a non answer, telling me to return to your site which I frankly find unintuitive, and difficult to navigate.

I appreciate that you have alot of time in your site, is not that part of your overhead? You reap the benefits of that time through making sales while you sleep at 3am your time, no?

I am not trying to debate nor attack I merely asked a question trying to buy your product, what I have accomplished is not what I intended but it is this: I will seek my needs elsewhere, look at my signature, I have modded this and several other cars widely, not one of those mods came from Excelerate due to an exchange very similar to this, none of my future mods will com from you.

Best of luck in future projects.

As the seller we want to make it as clear as possible, which granted is a continual process that has dips from time to time. The keys are complicated items and you need to do research before buying one. The reference materials are provided for you to get the answers, and if they are not helping you, contacting us DIRECTLY is the best course of action. There is a link right in my sig for doing so.

Anyway, I am sorry you won't be able to use our service as it is quite good, although we do rely on people being able to use our fairly common and wide-spread used system to do so. You clearly don't have a problem buying parts elsewhere though, so I am glad for that.

I tried to contact you directly, a week after I asked you in the thread, I cannot believe you want to belabor the fact that your customer support is lax, mine is not the first issue presented in this forum, a simple response would have ended this days ago but you choose to keep acting like I am your employee that did not follow a documented process integral to my job.

I wonder why I thought when I attempted to message you directly I needed to log in?

It has a log in dialog and DOES NOT SAY LOG IN UNNECESSARY.

I thought you wanted to end this and not turn it into a debate.

You DO NOT need to log in nor do you need to create an account! Just click NEXT and you will get to send me a message. Let me guess, you never read far enough down the page to see that? You just saw a login box and assumed you needed to put something there? For this reason, I am planning on adding some test telling people they don't need to log in, but if you choose to create an account you will be able to correspond online instead of in emails.

While we can certainly add this text regarding no need to create an account, you are over complicating the system. While nowhere does it say login is unnecessary, IT NEVER SAYS IT IS NECESSARY EITHER. You are assuming it is.

In the last 2 days alone we have corresponded with more than 50 different people, exchanging images, making sales, giving tech advice, etc.

It can't be THAT bad, can it?

Look at how much less you have typed than you would have if you just answered my question.

You must be right. I give up, your site is perfect, you are perfect don't change a thing.

You know I am sorry for getting testy here. From my perspective, I am working really hard, investing a lot of time and money into developing products and our web site...then it seems like you are coming at me telling me my business is not worth working with when you are unwilling or unable to use the tools in place. Whether or not you or I are to blame...it makes me upset. I am just trying to do the best I can. No, I ain't perfect. But I ain't as bad as you are making me out to be.

Then again, you also seem like one of those "customers are always right" kind of customers...they kind where somehow I am never going to do well enough. Didn't I just friggin say I was going to try and improve the site to avoid this in the future?

Marcus is a great guy!

The tech support system rivals the one at my company and i'm in the IT service and support business.

I recieved a poorly milled switchblade key and submitted a ticket. Within minutes, i got a response back saying that he'll try and re-mill my key, but he ended up giving me a new one.

i got it back in a week and it actually fit in my door lock, and then it turned on my car! ( it didn't fit in the door lock before and didn't turn on the car)

i got it programmed and boom works like a champ!

Marcus is a great guy to deal with and will always do you good. i thought this was going to be one of those online, you bought it, if it doesn't work, your loss type of thing but Marcus runs a legit business and it's about customer service.

i'm in canada and i even bought from marcus/heeltoe.com rather than supporting the local parts importer jrp because i can get good deals at heeltoe and those local price gougers kiss my behind. i also bought the progress rsb and hawks hps brake pads from heeltoe and marcus even fixed a misunderstanding we had about shipping costs to Canada.

btw, the whole discussion about the ticket system and faq should be removed from the thread as it has nothing to do with the sale of switchblade keys and is completely off topic and should have moved to PMs.
