Just finished installing my aspec type s kit on 07 type s. Here are some before and after pics. My apologies for the so so quality of the pics. I had to take them with my iphone and the weather was not great, so the lighting is poor. I ordered the kit in NBP and had it painted as MRP was no longer available.

you can still get in on the group buy scroll up towards the top of the page MasterShake put himself on the list just copy and paste and add your name to the bottom just follow the same format everyone else did and your good...im just trying to get at least 10 ppl more would be better to cut down on the group buy cost its not much of a difference but i know everyone likes to save some $$ so just do that and your good to go!

As these are OEM and not aftermarket pieces, is it fairly easy to install? Could one with a fairly good hand with a drill be able to handle this pretty easily?

These pieces are OEM and yes they are easy to install. The directions that come with the kit are very straightforward, although they say it should not be installed by "do it yourselfers". If you read the directions carefully and take your time, the install is not difficult. The OEM bumpers are already pre marked on the inside, so there's no measuring involved. The pieces will all attach straight and symmetrically.

For those with WDP the oem bumper tends to yellow. mine did on the original paint. these new Aspec kits come with new paint so it does not match. I had to repaint my rear bumper cause the yellowing was pretty bad. Cost me a good bit to match.

#2 - CBP side skirts aren't available anymore..please select another color if you wanted to stay on this..

#3 I think is out as he may have ordered one already or this is for the full kit only.

#4 - ASM side skirts are the only piece left in that color..please select another color for the front/rear if you wanted to stay on this GB.

#8 - Side skirts in this color were actually the first discontinued about a year and a half ago..front and rear were limited supply about 5 months ago and I believe are still available so please select another color for the sides or for the full kit if its not available (if you still want in on this GB).




For everyone:

All dealers get the kits from the same 5-6 warehouses that ACURA owns..if we can't get it, no one else can unless that particular dealer has one in stock which is very rare..If that one dealer has one, they would sell it for a premium as well so even if bought on this GB, it 99% of the time would be cheaper to paint..

BTW painting an already painted kit is MUCH easier as the body shop just has to scuff and paint rather then a non painted kit where they have to prep/prime/sand/paint..

I have heard people paying $100-$200 tops for kits to be painted (also depending upon the color)..
