Hey I wanna know that the ver 3 has everything that ver 1 and 2 have rite..and also do anyone install in ny area..?

version one and twp have only video inputs version 1 has 1 input, version 2 has 2 inputs, but that's all

once unit is released we will be able to recommend an installer in NY

I bought a Night Vision system for my 2011 X5, brand Is FLIR. Cost is around $4k, professional level, it can be connected to any video screen, and user can change colors, gray, green, thermal, etc, restricted for US only, and need to report when sold with the car...

small correction to previous post our units have component inputs not composite

The new NavTool was installed today in my new 2012 TL SH-AWD 6MT.

I used it with my iPhone 4S and am able to play videos from YouTube, movies, music videos and more (apparently applications that support TV output work great - should also stream movies via Netflix). The resolution of the Nav screen is sharp and the sound quality is impressive creating a great viewing experience.

One application that worked well was Slingplayer, which allows viewing your TV from home while on the road, as long as the 3G network coverage is adequate enough. I'll try to post some pictures in the next few days. One other item of note is that it worked just fine with both a non-jail broken iPhone as well as a jailbroken one.

Kudos to the team at NavTool for bringing to market such a great product!
