I sure as hell hope I am not one of the 5 left but must be since I've received no response to my request for a refund. If they send it to me, I may have to do a youtube video of me burning it

Someone might be to tell you if a product ever appears!

On a side note, I think most folks are DIY installing it. You're probably better off just asking a shop for a quote.

@Navtool, i've lost track of how many email's 'ive sent you guys (+ vitaly) asking for an update and no response.
Plz issue a refund. I'll wait till 5/18 and then proceed with a dispute with the card company.

This is the sad part of this entire dumpster fire of a pre-order / group buy. It's now been over a week since any updates from NavTool about you guys getting your products and the entire months of March and April they were saying that all they needed were the endcaps and the products would ship. They can't even build 1 module a day and get these things shipped to PAYING customers?

MONUMENTALLY PATHETIC business practice! I still truly wish for you to get your products and they work exactly as advertised for many years, but the rodeo you went through was more than I was willing to handle.

I really think that NavTool will deliver on the products but it's a shame how they do business. They did appear to fulfill the orders for the Corvette owners so I feel the modules do exist.

I would like to have the administrators do some evaluations of what happened to better address situations like this in the future.

Like what kind of evaluation? It's pretty clear what happened here. Vendor overpromised, then hasn't yet delivered. That wouldn't ordinarily be an issue, but he took peoples' money and instead of refunding readily, is forcing members to fight using their credit card companies. Indicates a company with cashflow problems.

After I saw exactly what I typed and how you responded (being 1 of the people who disputed the charge myself) I realize how badly I stated my comment.

I guess I was just trying to be more politically correct and less confrontational and I went overboard.

Perhaps there's a way to set up a procedure that a company would have a contract that if there was a group buy or pre-order that they could still charge early but have a drop dead delivery date or the money would automatically be refunded. Not sure if this is even possible, but that would be a nice motivator for the seller and some assurance of a product or refund for the buyer.

I think it goes well beyond that. I interpret a vendor over-promise as one that had good faith to deliver but couldn't for legitimate reasons and operate in a truthful manner. When he makes promises he knows they cannot keep it is deceit. Now that they are 5 months beyond when he promised these products it must have been known to him at the time that there was no way he could make the original date and he took peoples money knowing that. When he creates fake accounts to post favorable posts it is deceit. When he promises people their money back if they just ask and then fights it every step of the way it is deceit. I can't really see how Acurazine can accept this kind of behavior from a "vendor" on here. I put that in quotes because they are not really an official vendor on Acurazine.

I really doubt there is anything Acurazine can do at this point. If Acurazine could help people get their money back they would have already. Acurazine is not really a party to the transaction between NavTool and buyers. The only power Acurazine has is to ban them from doing business on Acurazine and at this point they only have a few buyers left so even that is not much incentive to NavTool. And of course they will just lie about what has happened here anyway. They have no credibility on here.

And.. that vendor outright ignores some pleas for a refund. I have written off the $$ at this point. I can't force them to respond or reply so all I can do is bitch about it.

It's the end of the 15th and not only do we have no response from NavTool, he hasn't even logged on since 5/11.

Group buy is over. Request your refunds, or go through your credit card companies' dispute process.

I am locking the thread and will reopen only if there is a significant change.
