Hi
if anyone is looking for interface for 2009 and up A0cura TL please email us.
If you tried to contact us and you fell we were rude, we are deeply sorry, mostly likely we just experience an issue with our online chat system and it just disconnected the chat, but we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you.

Looking forward to the next group buy for navtool. Just got a new 2013 Acura RDX AWD Tech last week. In my 2008 Lexus IS 350 I had a Vaistech SL2Vi and along with the ipod integration I was also able to watch videos off my nav screen from my ipod and iphone. I was able to do the install with a friend.

@Navtools - thanks for replying to my e-mail about the groupbuy. Before I place the order for the Navtools for my 2013 RDX Tech, I had a few questions. I thought I'd ask here since you are responding here but if you need to, I can create a separate thread.
Question #1: From the product details page, it says only video is transferred through the Navtool. But at the end of the install video, it seems sound would indeed come through with the iDevice (iphone/ipad/ipod) connection. So I was wondering which of those two was true?
Question #2: At the $375 cost I was quoted, does that cover tax and shipping and all necessary equipment? Does the iDevice connection come with it? I have both an iphone 5 and an ipod touch 4th generation and they use different connectors
I think with this install, I'll actually not hide the navtools unit behind bottom panel, I'll keep it handy to have ability to swap connector cables to the navtools unit. I'd like freedom to connect microusb too in case I get a new tablet soon which isn't an Apple device

answer to question 1: video and audio both transferred , keep in mind iPhone with lightning connector not supported
answer to question 2: we will include all in the price, except you will need iPhone to component cable, iPhone 5 is not supported

^ Thank you so much for quick reply. A few more follow up questions.
1) You said the "Lightning connector" of the iDevice is not yet supported. I assume in the near future it will be. How much will that new connection-cable cost approx when it is released? Also will it be (relatively) easy to install the new connector by taking out the bottom panel to swap the connector?
2) You said everything would be included. What about the tools needed to remove the actual navigation unit - the plastic things from the install video. If not, can you tell me where I can order those from?
3) Regarding obtaining video to play on the nav screen from other non-Apple devicies - such as Android phones via MicroUSB, how would those work? Would those also need their own cable? With those, would video and audio both be fed to the car or just video?
The main concern is for Apple iDevices but just in case we decide to move away from Apple products in the near future, I want to know what flexibility I will have with my Navtools product

1. this interface will not support lightning connector and we are not planning support in near future
2. those tools can be purchased online or possibly at local auto zone
3. other devices are not currently supported

If I place my order today, can it arrive by Thursday at the latest? I'm taking a trip for the holidays and would like to have the Navtools in my car by then.
Do you have a link to the online tools so I can order those too? Any chance they're on Amazon? I'm a prime member so I could get those overnighted to me

Well, I know there's an adapter out that takes the lightning connector and lets you connect it with an older ios device. So I think I should be fine.

as you know ups is not guaranteed delivery during holidays unless it's order overnight, second day air or 3 day select, you will have to pay for shipping separately
they are only available to be order over the phone or email
