I need to do one to determine the price. I am guesstimating in the $30-$50 range, but I really need someone to come here so I can give an accurate quote.

I sent you a PM about a older groupbuy, if the answer to that one is yes, then I'll be coming down to get the UR pulley installed by you!

That is not that old and it is not a group buy. Those specials are listed on heeltoeauto.com.

I will now read the PM and reply!

So cool! i'm like 15 mins from where you are...

Can i get a quote on the following? These are for the 97 CL 3.0:

- SSautochrome Headers (gaskets included)
- SS brake lines & bleed
- KYB AGX shocks FRONT
- HID kit
- Black housing (if you do, if not forget it)...
- Aftermarket steering wheel horn wiring (i can do the installation, just need the wiring for the horn button...) I'm also lookin for the NRG slim hub for my car (or 96-00 civic), if you have it in stock i might grab it for the right price...

There are some more but that's it for now... Let me know, PM will be great since i dont go here too often... Thanks

That's a great deal and believe me Marcus does an awesome job, he put mine on about a year ago and I love it. I was there chatting with him the whole time during installation and I can really tell he knows his stuff, he's a pro. In the future if there are any installations I cannot handle on my own, I will definitely pay him another visit.

Hey Marcus

Any news on the Tein CS working on the 2001 TL
Are they making one now or you have fitted some with little modification?

I would like the smoother ride too!

Good question, I bet they would fit with a little tweaking. I doubt it would be a big issue.

And I have not forgotten about your PMs, I just have not had a lot of time to think about it lately.

No prob on the PM return- just tossing out some ideas

Do you need a test car for the CS shocks?
My 01 TL feels a bit like a boat in the front end- especially with superior brakes

Brake pad question. The Hawk HPS have a slower speed break in listed on the box than you indicated above- is the higher speed needed because of buildup or glazing of some type?

Thanks

I have 06 TL.... Planning to buy ronjon 19" wheel and lower about 1".... don't know where should have the wheel installed and car lowered.

I live about 40 miles from you, do you install wheel/tire as well.... if not then, should I install the wheel first or lower the car first...

I tried to pm you.. but for some reason I can't... something wrong with my account..

Thanks,

I can get the wheels an tires mounted at a local shop and we can install some suspension for you. Really, you could toss on the wheels and come for install separately, or vice versa.

Don't worry on PMs, I am disabling mine soon anyway.

Thanks for the reply, Marcus.

1. So if I purchase RonJon 19", can I have it shipped to your place? so you can help me with all the installation.
2. Can you give me quote on tire price for 19"
3. If I'm going to lower my car... probably it's around 1" drop. Which part should I get? how much is it with the labor? I heard something nice about tein... but I checked your website, there are two types.. what's the difference between them?

I'm really debating whether to lower it or not.
Lowering it: will looks nicer, but I'm worried about all the bumps.
Not lowering it: afraid that it'll be too high with 19" and probably won't look right?

Plus, I'm not really fond of bumpy ride. I figure that with bigger wheel will make it firmer... and lowering it will make it even more firmer... is that true?

Sorry for so many question, Marcus... I just really want to do it right.. but I guess I worried too much

Thanks for all your help though... glad that I found you in this forum

regards,

regards,
1. Sure
2. Give me a complete size
3. For only one inch drop I suggest Koni yellow with either Eibach Pro Kit or Tein Htech springs

It will look a little odd if you don't lower. It does wonders for the look of the car. Why are bumps a worry? Worried about the ride? Don't. We can get the car to ride very close to stock. Worried about ground clearance? Don't, you'll have plenty

Haha, thanks a lot for the questions. For more correspondence, please email me! (see signature).

He said it takes also 8 hours to replace shocks on the TL . I went to a tuner shop in town and they did it in 3.5 hours. Total with Tokico HP and labor I paid $520ish
