With all due respect, I'm guessing this thread has no interest because a seller on ebay is offering this kit for $950 plus shipping which would end up being the same price.

I'm interested in a kit for an 06 TL and I'm sure you could get a lot more interested parties if the price was $900 shipped or something like that.

No flame intended, just stating the obvious...

Did you calculate shipping? Shipping to CA may come close to the same price as mine since they are in CA but then you will have to pay CA Sales Tax. However, calculate shipping to the east coast and you will see that it is about $60. And the price will be going down to $950 since I have a few coming in and I can start stocking Comptech parts now. If you are interested let me know.

I own my own business so I can appreciate having to get a price that makes a profit worthwhile, but the beauty of a 'group buy' is to combine the number of units sold and typically a retailer will discount enough to make it worthwhile to those who are on the fence.

If we are the same price as a guy selling individual units, then the group buy is irrelivant. Now if 10 people ordering get's the price down to $900 shipped, then that's a group buy worth checking out.

This really isn't a Groupbuy. I just call it a Groupbuy for lack of a better word. These units are sold individually. It is really just to advertise my pricing on this piece. People generally do not want to wait for the time it takes to do a GB. But if 10 people want to order I will do $900 shipped.

The 3rd Gen TL is a whole catback kit. There is no need for the B-Pipe. The 2nd Gen TL separated the mid pipe or B-pipe from the axleback. This is not the case with the 3rd Gen. That being said if you are still looking for the B-PIpe for some custom application I have no idea if it will fit.

Yeah, that's what I was going for, using their catback piping w/ different mufflers. Well, if anyone wants to split the catback, let me know

All the catback exhausts have the same price so it would work for all the years.

Is there a way to intall these and not get a sound from the exhaust. I'm not too into the whole exhaust sound thing, makes me feel like I'm driving a civic.

You can run Comptech's exhaust silencers. The noise that you will get from these mufflers is not the noise that you are thinking of. It is quiet at idle and is deep and throaty at wide open throttle.

I don't think there's a way around it. More airflow, more noise. I was told though, that the intake noise is probably louder than the exhaust.

Cool Finally Got My Exhaust In !!!

I finally got my exhaust for my 3gen TL. It only took 34 days to get it to my door! I talked to Comptech today and they said that they are waiting for their muffler source to ship them more mufflers. So beware that it'll take a while to get your exhaust if its coming straight from Comptech. But the odd thing is ... I called them this morning ... and they told me that they didn't ship any exhausts out within the last 30 days ... and then it shows up on my porch 2 hours later. I guess they aren't on top of it or they didn't bother to look up my exact order. Either way I didn't plan on it taking this long at all. It's only 4 peices. 2 mufflers, then 2 pipes leading up to the engine. Then 3 ring clamps. I'll post a DIY by mid next week for ya'll that want to do it yourselves.

I already have pics of the exhaust on my floor if anyone wants it. Send a pm with an email address.

Man. I'm tired of waiting too! I ordered mine almost a month ago and still haven't heard any news yet. Oh well, I guess if I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer. Not too long I hope.
I guess this group buy isn't working out. It seems damn hard to get 6 more people!
I don't mind paying full price. Just give me my exhaust!

Haha Tony. I'm sorry to the member above for the delay but it was out of my hands. Comptech was on backorder. They have got some back in stock now so my big order will be coming in with a couple on that order. Tony yours will be here with a week and a half.

Well, if the group deal goes through, then I guess it's okay? I asked Josh and he didn't say I could. I think he says he's getting a whole bunch in the same time.
From the looks of it, if the exhaust comes in before 10 people are in, then I'm getting it. I can't wait for 5 more people to join in! I'm very impatient as you can clearly see!

The 3G exhausts are back in stock at Comptech. If you are talking about an ETA on the GB exhausts then as soon as I get 10 I place the order and wait for Comptech to produce.
