Brace Yourself: HT-Spec Brace Packages Add Road Feel And Driver Confidence!

I am so pleased that chassis bracing is finally becoming an item that people are buying more for the positive effects on the driving experience rather than visual appeal. And with new, exciting suppliers coming in to the mix, namely Ultra Racing and Alutec Performance, we are finding some really innovative additions to chassis bracing “catalog.” Enough such that we are finding it entirely appropriate to package some brace options that “make sense” for our customers.

Our project TSX was the guinea pig for the test fitting of the ultra-new braces from Ultra Racing. We have a direct relationship with Ultra Racing and Alutec Performance and have access to their entire catalogs. I am extremely pleased make their items a part of the HT-Spec Bracing packages.

The first two cars on our radar are the 04-08 1g TSX and 04-08 3g TL. For each car we offer a basic bracing package as well as an option to add more braces into the mix.

I am guessing there is no version for the 01-03 cl, 99-03 tl or 98-02 accord is there? Also do you know if the 3rd gen Tl will fit 2nd gen?

I've purchased a fair amount of stuff from youn and have had great experiences. What are your thoughts on the build quality of the Ultra Racing 4 point underbody brace? Is it's structure rigid, strong and does the design result in a significant difference in cornering? Also do they make one for 99-03 TL's and are any chassis modifications needed to install it?

Quality on these braces:

Fit: GREAT! No mods needed to install.
Hardware: Adequate.
Finish quality: Eh, so-so. Some burrs on the holes and stuff, and the paint is pretty weak...but doesn't matter really considering where they mount.
Strong: Very good! Anything better would cost too much and probably be over-kill.
Cornering PERFORMANCE: Not highly effected
Cornering FEEL: MUCH BETTER. You'll go faster because your butt communicates with the tires/road better.

There are a few limited offerings for the 99-03 which are on heeltoeauto.com under Acura Parts/UA5/Chassis Bracing

I would assume the 2nd gen cl and 2nd gen tl are interchangable since the rest of the suspension stuff is.
