To all members of the Acurazine forum. My door sills for the 99-03 TL are completed. All units are on there way and will arrive with the 2004 Acura TL sills that I am selling. There will be 2 waves of product the first wave is allocated to 50 units. With the 99-03 Since they are already on the way a full payment in the amount of 159.95 Delivered will need to be made to our paypal account to reserve your spot. Why 159.95? A little more stainless steel was used in these as compaired to the 04-05 and shipping cost has gone up due to fuel. All Sets will ship the Week of April 14th Via UPS and tracking numbers will be sent to all the day the unit ships out.

We understand that there are many more color possabilitys with the 99-03 as compaired to the 04-05. Get together a group of people at least "10" and we can create any color you wish. Red is already in the pipe line and will be coming in the second batch. So right now these are for the same blue color that you see in my 04-05 Tl SIll Pictures. The graphic is also designed exactly the same as you see in the 04 sill pics.

Due to time, We did not have time to Install a finished sample so we dont have pics at this time but we can insure 100% fitment. I will post a pic of what the covers will look like with out the inserted graphic.

You will be getting a top quality product developed by the members of the Acura Zine Forum. These sills were Test fitted perfectly and have a nice look and snug fit to our original OEM sills. These are covers that go right over the stock Plastic. The color offered at this point is a Blue glow nice and suttle, the look that Mercedes and Bmw have had for years at the price of 499.00 as a dealer option. These are not ricer or loud they are a nice compliment to the cars interior. Each door sill lights up when the door is opened and shuts off when the door is closed. Its a easy wire set up that consists of a ground wire and a power wire, that connects to the fuse box or the dome or door lights Any radio installation shop or car alarm shop can do the install. Time is about 1 hour. We will also include step by step directions to do the install if you have electrical experience.

The sill slides over your original OEM equipment and are secured with 3 thick strips of 3m Tape adhesive. Again the fit is nice and snug and looks OEM. The material used to make the sill is High Quality Stainless steel . The lighting is done with state of the art Low Voltage EL-Technology.

This product took us 3 months to develop with the original developer of the factory option sills for BMW and Mercedes. The sills were developed in the USA and are produced in Germany. The quality is 100% made with the finest materials.

All Sills will have a 1 year warranty against defects in Materials and workmanship. We will on a one for one basis replace any damaged units that are damaged due to a defect in material. Misuse or accidental damage will not be covered. Send us your defective sills and we will send you a new one out to you minus shipping and handling costs.

We also have a customer satisfaction policy, For any reason if you do not like the quality of the sills or the look of the product feel free to return it to us for a full refund. Minus shipping and handling costs. The window to test them out is 15 business days after they are received. Product must be returned in new condition.

I have a question, though. Is there any room for wires underneath the sill? I currently have 7 wires running underneath my factory one, and I had to cut off some of the tabs for clearance. I was wondering if these would clear the wires.

We could not get the durablity out of plastic. We wanted to go with something we knew how to do and would hold up. The wires under the sill are very thin, There has not been any clearnce issues to this point at all.

If you want a white graphic we need to get at least 10 orders on white to get them done.

Just to be clear, I was talking about other wires. I have EDFC and stereo system wires running underneath the front and rear sills. Plus the wires to power up these sills, I just wanted to make sure that there will be room for all these wires. I don't want to get it only to realize that they won't fit because of all the wires I have running down there.

These go on top of your stock plastic. The sill wires will run on top of the stock sill and up under the weather stripping for a clean cut install. Your other wires will not be a problem, I have an amp wire running under there also and it was not a probelm in the test fitting.

Test fitting was already done. Take look at the 2004 tl sills and inagine the same look on your 99-03

For the "Type S" logo, Will it only say "Type S" or will it say "ACURA Type S"?
Although I would like to see "ACURA TL Type S" if that's possible.

If there was "ACURA TL Type S" (The "type S" logo like on the back of our cars) in white/blue, I would definitely be in.

Hmm.. i'm just wondering if anyone wants "TL Type-S" with TL is white/Blue and Type-S in red.

Is there a way to organize this so that people can sort out all the options and see when they will have 10 people? Like maybe list out all the possibilites and maybe some people can compromise to get 10 instead of like 5 each and wait forever...

Guys We cant offer dual colors it has to be one solid color. So either all Red,Blue,White Ect. As for what the graphic is to say I will see if we can Fit Acura Type-S letters may have to be a bit smaller to get it all in. I will update you when I get an answer. What do you mean by seen in the day. You will be able to see the acura letters during the day just not lit up. In this picture you will not see these during the day either. The El lighting is not strong enough to do that.

I'm interested but I need to see installed pics (The 3rd gen style appears to be considerably different). I'd like white also, but I am wondering for the dual color people if you could just stick some red tinted plastic over the S and under the metal? (since only one light color is available).

And I noticed the pics won't be ready until the 1st, just wanted to post my interest now

well, my white 2003 Acura TL-S will be mine as of...tomorrow, so im interested in a set of sills too. I'm pretty much cool with any design, i guess we'll see how the group buys form up. it might take me a little bit to come up with the money though...

I am with him on this one. What is the install process and how hard is it to do. On a scale of 1 being easy to 10 being retarted hard. Soon as you get some pics and I like I will put my order in for some of those blue ones.
