MCSO has bigger issues to deal with than what someone says about a business on the Internet.
FTC Complaint filed:
My Wife was solicited by Living Social in an email to buy a race day which she did as a surprise for my Birthday which is 5/9. She paid 125.00 and got a voucher supposedly valid until 6/19/13. My Daughter called Racing Adventures (the provider) yesterday to make my appointment and was told they sold to many and were not honoring it. She asked for a refund and was laughed at. The person said he was Dave, the CEO when she asked for a manager. I posted to their facebook and mine what I said above plus Dave won't be laughing alone when the dust settles and he texted her that I threatened him and was liable for 1,000,000dollars and jail time. I called him, he cursed, yelled and refused to offer anything. They have our 125.00 and we have nothing. Living Social does not answer the phone and their response by email offers nothing.

Wow, thats a shitty way to run a business.
If your wife paid via credit card, get them involved. Even if it was debit, get your bank involved. He can threaten you with lawsuits (that would be laughed out of court anyway), but what hes doing is fraud.

Yup, I work downtown so I'm around there often. Surprising we don't bump into each other more.

e30cabrio, file a claim with your bank. They will ask you for the documentation you have. Tell the bank you purchased the voucher through living social and both parties are refusing to honor the voucher. Your bank will open a fraud claim and refund the amount to you. I have had this happen a few times before with living social. I only use groupon now.

About to give some much needed attention to my steering which has developed a vibration that balancing the rims & rubber didn't cure. On a related project for this year, new struts and springs with a lowering kit or get the Koni and H&R Springs Package and not fool around with the lowering kit. I'm rolling on stock sized 15" cheap aftermarket rims that I want to replace with 16" 93 Legend GS Rims and lower profile, wide rubber is I'm tighten my waist enough to save the extra cash or sell a couple of short stories. On those GS Rims, have you ever heard of someone polishing the brushed finish off of one?
Oh yeah I'm in the East Valley near downtown Mesa, Az
