Boosejars don't worry about test fitting your wheels on my car. The offsets to low and I want to run a 255/35/18 tire. I'm going to be looking for a set of wheels that are 18x8.5 with a 45 or 48 offset. Either a set of a aspec wheels or a set of work emotion cr Kai

Sounds good...Work wheels = $$ but should be a good match for the TL...

Yeah they are, I'll only get them if I can get a used set in good condition or a new set for a good price

Can't wait I've done a few things to the car since I last saw everyone. I replaced my navi screen, installed a strut tower brace, and deleted my mid muffler( sounds great).

I might have one other guy coming with a 09 tsx and another with a 11 or 12 acura tl. I was at work the other day and saw a guy leaving and getting into a 07-08 tl type s with ron jon wheels, lowered and cross-drilled and slotted rotors. I wanted to go tell him about the site and the meet but I was to busy with people in the store.

Seems like out the clear blue I have encountered a lot more Acura's lately - Friday night last week a 3G TL and I were cruising it up on the buckman...then Tuesday night this past week, a 2G TL was pushing me to race...lol...I thought it was you Stephen, but this 2G was on stock wheels...it's just weird all of sudden, I feel like I am seeing more...just a thought...

Not sure if I have seen that one or not. Every time I see a black 3g tl I try to catch up or see if it has gold wheels lol.

Many people have run a 4" intake on te second gen tl and cl and it was helpful. That's why I'm goig with a 4" intake and I have the room to do it in my car. That ubi intake kit is nice and I was either planning on using that or some other material

Are you really "inhaling" enough air to necessitate a 4in" intake w/out being on forced induction? just curious...

Once I get my new intake manifold and throttle body on yes. The more air you can get into them the more power they will make. Plus I'll really need it once I swap the motor in my car. Still debating whether to swap a 3.5L or build a 3.7L

I did the 3.7 tl mod intake manifold and tb and now am getting high flow precat so will need more air the tb is 3.25 " at the inlet.

Nice i'm still trying to determine another throttle body besides a stock j32a2 throttle body which is 70 mm because my car does not use drive by wire. All the aftermarket throttle bodies don't have a spot for cruise control but apparently you can fabricate it to work. Not sure how and I drive to much not to have cruise control. Maybe once i get another car I can do it but not for now. Once you put all the new parts on could you notice a big difference? Also what did you do with your lower intake manifold/ runners? If you didn't you need to get a set ported and polished and slap them on. There is a big difference once you do.

The top is what came off my car compared to type s runners on the bottom. I had the bottom ones ported out even larger by nva-av6. Its one of the few things i could really feel besides the headers and the lightweight crank pulley on my car. It allows my car to pull hard all the way through the rpm range especially up top.

Sorry to be cluttering this thread guys just trying to help rubenders out.

I haven't done nothing to the runners. I did notice a big difference it take off faster and when vtec kitsnin is louder. Better gas mileage in highway I went to Virginia last weekend doing 75 on cruise control making 34 mpg.
