We're still waiting for Will, who is currently in Japan, to give us a date when he'll be coming home around July. That's why there's no confirmation yet. We'll also need to check to see if there's no other events going on like last time.

Will is an all around good guy who used to be a meet regular before being stationed in Japan with the military...he'll be home for a couple of weeks in July so we are trying to give him a chance to participate since he hasn't been stateside in about a year. The meet is still months away so I hope you guys can understand and be just a lil patient...

What's Up everyone?
Greetings from the land of the rising sun. Holy Shit, they weren't joking about the sun. Now that it is getting warmer here in Japan, the sun is up around 5am. The birds and crap start chirping way too damn early for me. Man i miss home, Japan is really cool, just ready to retire from this Air Force thing, and buy a crib and chill. Well I hit 20 years next Nov, so i'm gonna see if i can retire by the end of next year or by the following June when my assignment here is up.
The family is good, but they are homesick. We have been getting out more and more, and it makes it better. The honda's, toyota'snissan, and stuff over here are crazy. 50% or better of the cars here seem to have GPS. The wife and daughter were in the states for a few weeks recently, so i got to party a little in Tokyo 3 weeks ago. Tokyo is about and hour and a half to 2 hours away depending on the traffic. I got rid of my skyline, and haven't picked up another car yet. I have a motorcycle now, so i drive it when the weather's good, and we have an older cube, too. It's a little different from the new nissan cubes in the states, but it's a good little car.
I actually will be home around the 20 or 21 of July. If i don't make the meet it's cool, i just hope to get up with some of you when i come back. I hope there's still a group to hang out with when i come back. Man i miss walmart and target, and some of the other places. Hey what program can i use to make my pics smaller so i can post some here on the site? Sorry for the long ass post, but i haven't been on here in a minute. Thanks Ty, Casey, and everyone else who thought about a brother over here in Japan.

Glad you guys are doing OK over there, Will. I'm sure we can still meet up when you come back if we happen to have a meet before you arrive. Just hit me up and we can all go out for a brew. I'm sure the guys are itching to have a meet soon by the posts we've gotten so far. LOL

Nice to hear from you Will, glad all is well. I've been using Flickr for photo hosting lately...pretty easy to use, give it a try.

Feedback time guys! Do we want to schedule the meet for the last Saturday in July (8/25), or do we want to do it earlier and just have a separate meet while Will is in town? I personally am OK with the 25th, but want to gather inputs from the larger group of us.

I want to come, but I'm worried that bennett might hump my girlfriend.

I know everybody was bummed about the PCB meet being cancelled. But with such a low turn-out, I just didn't think it would be financially worth it. Let's face it; it's a lot of money to get the condo and the less people we have, the more it costs. Not to mention gas, food, etc. That would've been a not-so-cheap weekend for all of us. Let's hope for a better one in the future.

In the meantime, I want to make this meet because I haven't been to Stone Mountain in years and years. Last time I was there was when I was like 14 or 15. This will be right after my July plant shut-down weekend, off for about 10 days, and I will be itching for a get-away again afterwards, so I think the timing will be good.
