Does anyone have the Tein Street Advance (Super Street) setup on their car? If so, will take me for a ride in it so I can see how it feels lowered....

I wouldnt be against going north.... (after i get suspension) lol but id need an additional reason to travel... amusement parks, a nice wholesome family oriented eatery.... or a flock of Caucasian women waiting on my arrival....

I say we do something in Vero Beach (which is somewhat mid point for S. FL crew, Orlando Crew, Tampa Crew). Could make for a great meet if we put the word out really well. Before mid-summer's heat, humidity and rain would be best. Thoughts?

Thats 2 hours from Ft Lauderdale... Hmmm.... What month would be considered... I'm not going if I'm not lowered... im putting that out there now... there is nothing for me to see to justify that drive in a stock car.. lol

And that seems a little closer to orlando than it is to us... but i'll entertain the idea....

Its about 2 hours for Orlando group (Turnpike & Route 60).
Its about 2 hours for Tampa group (straight Route 60)
Its about 2 hours for you guys.

So seems like a mid-point for all. It wasnt my intention to hijack the thread so maybe we continue this on another thread. Maybe while you guys are together this weekend talk it over and lets plan it.

Yeah, I'm with you on that.
Location is fair...it's just 4 hours in a car. Which I wouldn't do too frequently. That could be a fun event though.

Anyone need / want a lightweight battery?

I have an extra one that I'll put on the BM if no one wants it here. It's a 17lb Braille B2317, brand new. Retail is ~$200, I'll do $150 here. Thx.

This should be a good meet. Cars, parts and BBQ

Don't be a wuss, being stock doesn't mean you shouldn't attend. Meeting new people and having a good time is the most important part. This is why AZ meets don't last.

Its all about meeting new people and having a good time indeed... thats why I go to events... but there comes a point where you're just not ready for such things.... and I'd like to be better positioned for such a meet.... just how I feel about things....

I think the point is we all are at a level where we enjoy spending time together, no matter the state of our cars. There's a big reason I park my car in the shade.

PS...no problem, I'll give you a quick ride around on the Tein SS. You can't go wrong with them. For being maxed out, I feel the suspension is forgiving.

Tein SS are great. OEM feel, but still get the drop.

What's your problem? Go to Acutech automotive.

Or take your existing kit and see what/if Mike from Acura of PP would charge to use your own and install.

Uh...are you telling me that? I know the Advance is SS, that's what I just said. Not sure why you'd be looking for a ride in SS though...they're harder to find and aren't the exact same thing. They go a little lower.

The labor quotes im getting are not adding up versus dealer cost.... so if im going to not use the dealer, and only save 40-60 bucks.... doesnt add up to me... might as well sell everything and pay the difference to the dealer.. and have the security that comes with going to the dealer....

Dealer might allow you to bring your parts...
Can't hurt to ask...call and ask to speak with Mike Chan. Tell him you're Jeremy...a friend of his friend Jeremy.
