How many TL Owners in TAMPA? (Tampa/Clearwater/St.Pete AZ Meet 6-13-10)
 

Hello everyone, I just wanted to see how many ppl on this forum live/work/go to school in Tampa Bay Area. Just in case we wanna do a TL photoshoot or cruise. Post what year/color/model you have.

I Love the first, and second picture!! Very cool. Like Elite said, you name the place and time (give us a decent heads up to wash our rides) and we will be there.

Its cool that we have quite a few ppl in TB, look like 4 or 5 now, what do you say we do a shoot on SAT 5/22/2010, now we need a place for photoshoot/cruise and what is the best time for everyone, lets say we can start around noon. Lets vote on where to take photos:
1. Beach/Ocean scene
2. Construction/Wearhouse scene
3. Open road/Abandoned place for rolling shots
4. Other(need ideas)

Hey, glad that we are getting something planned. Keep me posted, and if it is on a Saturday, what time? Only because I work til 4pm. I am down for any shoot with a good camera (TL-s Driver), and both dates should be good (5/22-5/29). On a side note, there is another member (Pinina, or something like that), we should see if they are down as well!

Man, actually outta town for both those weekends! :( But will be great seeing pics of Tampa's rides!

I'd vote for a beachish scene, but I imagine that might be a bit challenging being that it IS beach season!

I'm always down for a brew or anything on weekends that I'm here!

Perfect! Finally...a Tampa crew get together! I have an 04 6MT A-SPEC SSM. I am the General Manager of the Marriott on Treasure Island. We could figure out a beach shoot easily! Although, the idea of the contruction site sounds very pleasing!

i live and work in tampa as well (usually work in the new tampa area but drive frequently for work)

i live in riverview and by usf (take care of ill dad most days)

in any case, i'm down for a cruise in the s2k just need advanced notice to see if i can accomodate the date/time

Alot of ppl are in the area, that great news, jrocka312 if you have a place by the hotel where we can take photos, we can add that to the cruise, i know that Treasure Island is nice, and if anyone know a construction site or an old wearhouse where we can take photos, please let me know, I am going to be busy on 2/29, so we can do it on the 5/22 or 6/05. How many ppl are interested in a crouse/photoshoot of TL only vs any make/model cars.

Would be down for anything! 6/5 is ideal! Could possibly do this Sat... but prefer first weekend in June!

I would love to be apart of a TL only photoshoot. It is about time I get my A-SPEC some love! As I said before, being the General Manager of the Marriott...we can make a stop over on the island. I would love for everyone (that is 21) to stop in for a quick beer on me. We could then continue the cruise to St. Pete Beach or even Clearwater. I just wish I had my damn Comptech exhaust already!!!

Ok, I don't think I can pass on the beer, lol, So lets plan it on the 6/5, we can meet on the Courtney Campbell Causeway bridge around 12PM take some photos there, and then cruise down to Marriott and follow along the beach, JMooSer photoshop skills are covered, and hurry up and get the bumper repainted and jrocka312 see if you can get that exhaust installed. So lets do that the TL ony shoot this time. If you have ideas for location on the way and time frame request please post. I am thinking from 12PM to 3-4 PM or longer... So lets start the list:
1. TL-S on 6/5

I should be able to get away from work, so I'd be down.

Here is a rough draft for the route, it can be changed as we go, plan is to start on the Campbell Causeway bridge go down to Marriott, then drive along the Saint Pete beach and end the route in the Downtown Saint Pete by the Progress Village building next to the Pier or we can go down to DeSoto park, there are cool camping areas and dirt roads where we can snap some cool shots. If you have any suggestions, please post.

Hey, I am down for this as well! I am not available that early in the day, but I can try to pull some strings at work with enough advance notice. I usually get off of work at 4pm, so if I can't meet at 12, maybe a little after. I will go wherever to get some good shots of our TL's (i have a point and shoot only :( !) Can't wait to meet some fellow A'ziners!!

This sounds awesome, however I don't think the 5th will work for me. I have friends coming from out of town to visit. Well maybe they will just have to deal...I'll feed them beers I guess...

Sunday's are usually easier, but don't change it for me, just let me know where you will be and I will try to make it. Better to show up a little late, rather than not at all. I also have a friends coming into town around this time, but maybe they will have to drink some beer alone for a few hours. No biggie!!

We can put your friends with my friends and send them on their way, while us cool people git r done!

We can change it to Sunday 06/23/10 or 06/06/10 if it fits better with most ppl schedules, but it has to be later in the day, maybe around 3pm or 4PM. We can do that time on saturdays as well if most ppl agree. I am not sure how to make a poll, but if you can post what is the best date and time.
