Guys,

I am looking for an aspec lip kit and Coilovers for my 04 AM TL. Are there any places with good deals locally?
Where are you all getting them from? Online? if so, where?

Installation is something I think I can do myself, but if the install price isn't too bad, I would also consider letting the shop do it.

Im just trying to get the best deal possible because (I don't have to tell you) this modding stuff gets expensive real quick.

I know A lot of Acuraziners get them from AckTL05 He has a good price on the group buy shipped to you house painted and ready to put on. check him out

Ack05TL is the place to go for your aspec, I want to say it's like $700 shipped. Easily one of the best mods for the price. Changes the look of the car in a major way.

About suspension, what you looking for and what's your budget? Some good vendors on here like Excellerate Performance and Heeltoe...or on ebay there's a store called Kuruma motoring...have bought 3 suspensions from them with no issue.

I haven't decided on suspension... Im thinking 600 max. Some people tell me to just buy the suspension from whomever is going to install it. Im sure the prices online are better though.

The thing is, the more I look at DIY coilover threads, the more Im thinking I can do this myself. Still deciding on that. I can see from the pics that it's gonna be a project though.

you can absolutely do it yourself...
if you're at about 600 I'd suggest going for some used tein basics...or new megan or ksport or form and function coilovers.

Well, to tell you the truth, Im pretty much deciding on a set of Tein Basic coilovers. What do you think vs Megans? Im reading that the ride is better on the Tein Basics.

F&F is good from most people on the forums.
Tein is a nice smooth and soft ride.
Megan and the others are much more sporty and harsher ride. Also, can drop them much more than Tein if you are into being lowered on the ground.

Tein drops enough for my taste though...this is almost all the way down.

Yeah, that's a real nice drop. I'm not looking to go ler than that. Teins it is. Hopefully I can find some in the black market.
