LOL, I'm just playin'.

As for the next meet, I got a reply from VIR, but they didn't specify which event had the open track day. I'll see what I can find out through the tuner that told me about it.

Would anyone be interested in making a trip to the Tail of the Dragon? I drove it on my way back from Import Alliance this year. It was something like 3 hours from Charlotte. Might be far for some, but we could rent out some hotel rooms, stay a night and maybe do some rafting if it's not too cold. I've never done it, but it could be fun.

I had a blast driving through the twisties with a trunk full of luggage and 3 people in the car. It was making all sorts of scraping noises. Found these on Kill Boy's site.

That sounds about right. I remember crossing from TN to NC right near the Dragon.

It's a great drive with beautiful scenery. The roads were smooth with lots of elevation changes to along with the twists and turns.

If it is the same road. I drove it 4-5 months ago when I went to gatlinburg for a week end.
It had killer veiws.Due to all the conners you can't get to many good looks with out risky driving.
So either veiws,Or see how the suspension mods are working.
Both and there could be a issue.
One bad thing was theirs alot of wear and tare on you brakes.
So much that you can actually feel them getting worse and worse and also the smell of the brakes cooking going down very steep inclines.

Deals Gap is the name of the town. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a different stretch of road, but I hear it's one of the best drives in the US.

LOL, I was stuck behind bikers the whole trip. We might have broke 30 mph a couple times.

Blue Ridge Parkway would be fun too. Either place would make for a fun Acura meet. Much cheaper than a trip to VIR.

We had one at TotD back in May. There were a total of three cars including myself But it was probably better that way as it didnt get too crowded.

We had some bikes out there too, but we hit it pretty early before the afternoon rush came in.
