I don't think there are any more meets planned as of right now. That doesn't mean one won't pop up sometime though. I've been thinking about getting one set up for late October/early November. Plenty of time for people to ask off of work and the weather should be cooling down by then.

I emailed VIR. There's supposed to be some sort of event in October where anyone can track their car and beginners aren't required to have an instructor. I heard this through a guy that dyno'd my car a few weeks ago.
If it's priced reasonably, it could be a good place to have a meet.

There's a 1/8 mile track near me having a import event.
racing,burnout contest,etc. This friday.
If I have my car out the shop I will be filling my bottle and might go.
it's 5-10 minutes from my house.
It's probablly too soon to get people to go,since it's this friday.

I've never tracked my car and I probably never will. It would be fun to do something at a track but don't expect to see my "all show and no go" automatic TL to be out there burning rubber.

I have only been twice
once when totally stock with 300lbs of sytem and went 9.9
With only pullys,deleted mufflers and k+n filter and same system went 9.7
Now I also have cai,bigger tb,complete intake is ported to the heads,mdx spacer,p2r spacer,all thermos,headers and hiflow exhaust,100 shot,and I lost well over half of the systems weight.
I'm expecting to be atleast very low 9's in the 1/8.
And civic you got run that beast with me one time.

well I went without my car and it was alright.
It was at night so I didn't bother bringing a cammera.
This place must of had every honda/acura around from the area.
If I were to guess I would say 1-2 hundred cars between racers and spectators.
Alot of sick and fast rides.
Best ride I liked was a 81 corolla with a 2jz and big turbo.
The car did not sound loud and crappy at all like some supra's will.
Real quiet and was running mid 5 sec's in the 1/8 while looking like a show car.
Anyone else went to this.

If you can't get a good 60 or don't have big power,then it would be the best for you to stick to the 1/4 so you have some more room to try to build off the bad 60.
They were still giving practice runs after 9:00pm.
If you were any where around here around 10:30-11:30 you would see groups driving together all over.
Cars that I saw at the track that were quick I seen driving on the street and I would've never 2nd glanced them for being fast.
I guess going to the local track will let me know in advance who not to try on the street.
