I don't blame either one of them. It's a great car. I'd have to go take an week long class to learn all the buttons/functions tho... lol

Well gentlemen, for those of you who I don't have on snapchat/whatsapp...I made 387/242 @ 8400 rpm to the wheels yesterday, uncorrected. This was @ 2250' elevation, 102 degrees, and 53% humidity. Not as much as I had hoped given that boost maxed out @ 10.2 psi, but if it's all healthy I'm happy. Haven't gotten to drive the car yet since it's getting some very minor body work done, but I'm super excited to see what it's like soon.

I'll be heading up to Richmond for ECHM again this year and was fortunate enough to be invited back to show the Civic for the third time at Tuner Evo.

^ Let me know! My last official day with my firm is 8/15, however, I'm using some vacation time ahead of that. I'll pretty much be spending that time putting karts together! I already have one chassis, looking to get another as I'd like at least 2 to start. I've been working with one of the largest karting companies in the US who also has their own chassis... so if I can close that, I'll have a decent fleet pretty quickly.
Definitely let me know and we'll put something together

Any recommendations on a good muffler shop to install my Dynomax resonator and do a mid-muffler delete in the Charlotte area? Also in the near future a shop to install coilovers, as I was going to install springs but decided to go all the way Have been saving since the last time I commented.
Any word on Speed Styles? I've had my tint done there but that's about it, since it's close by. Thanks in advance and I will try to upload some pics/videos for comments. Hopefully positive ones

So what's new with everyone? Evan, the car looks great even though I haven't seen it in person yet. I saw Ben over in my neck of the woods while I was at cookout.

Thanks my man. Basically, I'm just waiting on the body shop to finish some refresh work they're doing. The car won't be perfect, but a couple things that have been bothering me will be tidied up. After that I'm being kinda OCD about ride height, since it's kinda bothered me since day 1 that it's not completely equal, then I'll probably get it corner balanced.
Then I'm driving the car the rest of the year and not touching a damn thing.

What body shop do you use?

The car is at Manpower Collision now, but I've also used Import Paint & Body. I'm satisfied with both.

So I've picked out the wheels that are going on the Impreza. Not gonna lie I was a little skeptical because even though the company has been around forever it seems, they haven't made too many appealing wheels. They have their new performance lineup which is flow formed and upon doing research its a process thats similar to creating forged wheels but its still a cast process. The wheels are Konig Hypergrams and they remind me of miniature RE30s and RPF1s and surprisingly they're decently lightweight. Roughly 16-17 lbs for a 17 x 8. Ive also been trying to find some good rubber to put on them and looking for 225/45s. Im looking for a high performance summer or all-season that both quiet and grippy.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. It's super grippy, works great in the rain, and best of all... it's probably the quietest summer tire I've ever had. I've driven on Z1SS, Z2, RS3, and the RE-71R. A few of those might be a bit better in the dry, but in my opinion nothing beats the Michelin PSS for street use. You could probably get a whole set for under $600 in the size you mentioned, which isn't bad at all either.

The wheels look great too. I really like them.

It's funny that you said that about the cars b/c my insurance guy is getting me the info so I can send to the dealer and he literally said the exact same thing. . But, in all fairness, this is the wife's car and she keeps them for a while... so she's much better than me...

That is awesome. Very cool. Good luck. I have still sadly never made it up to GoPro so if you head up that way to do any testing of the new carts let me know and I will see if I can head up there. I really want to check the place out but still haven't found the time to do so.
I'm working with the tracks on setting up demo days where I can just be there setup and charge, say $35-$40 per session (sessions are like 10 to 12 min) so people can try it out. Also does the job or marketing for me . Not sure how open GoPro will be to that. I am going to talk to them to see. Carolina Motorsports Park is open to it, but I'd like to be able to hit both
