Without a doubt dude! I'm sure everyone doesn't like things here and there that I've done to my car. Fawk it
Damn was it really 730 days? Insane. I would miss your car too much

Let me get this straight, you guys are butt-hurt because he didnt build his car the way you wanted?
I can't speak for Jason, but while getting on a magazine cover is cool, no one should tailor a build for that specific reason. What does it get you? I'd much rather have a 120whp jump in power then a new "cool" color and some fender flares.
*This is not a personal swipe at anyone either*

The TSX isn't as under represented, but it has definitely been a goal for Jason to have it re-featured. If you ask him he will tell you. With the amount of quality parts and amount of money put into, it has the potential to be featured in another magazine. If he went and did any of those mods that I suggested, it would increase his chance to meet his goal.
So with this being said, I think it's fairly important to get these types of cars in a magazine.
It draws traffic to acurazine
Increases sales of parts
It can literally sell an entire car to someone!
Shows people what can be done
Inspires!

I studied these two photos and realized that I had done quite a few mods since then.
Emblem delete
Sticker change
Roof diffuser
Roof rack
Gutter side splitters
Rear diffuser swap
Window Tint
Reinstalled APR mirrors
Headlight film delete
Password JDM fender fasteners installed
15mm spacers
ARC passenger side winglet delete-unplanned
I feel like I should have kept my mods secret until now. Or would that have been lame?

*Come on we are not ricers stickers are not a mod
Roof diffuser would be better if it wasn't in two pieces or was made permanent. I found that you can get one from an STI that goes the entire way across with no antenna hole.
Roof rack looks good
Only comment on the side splitters is, its your car
New diffuser definitely looks a lot better
*You had window tint before. Yes it looks better with it back on
*You had the APR mirrors half on the car you were just too lazy to screw them back on
Bumper fastner is a mod
Spacers definitely make the back look a lot better
*Not really mods
I did remember a mod I also suggested. Getting the Type S rear side markers so you had the grey smoked markers front and back.
I can make a list too if we are comparing penis sizes here. I know I am missing things but here are some.
6MT Swap
Navi Swap
3in Supercharger pulley for 10.4psi
IMT Stage 2 Aftercooler
IMT Large Inlet
TL SH-AWD Throttle Body
Innovative Engine Mounts
Competition Stage 4 Clutch
Competition 11lb Flywheel
06 TSX cam shaft
LSD
Bardi Short Shifter and Bushings
HyTech Shifter Cable Bearings
J's Racing Front Bumper
Spoon Front Bumper
J's Racing Oil Cap
J's Racing Radiator Cap
J's Racing Double Sided CF Hood (Only one made)
To me these changes above don't seem minor. Driving wise the car is an entirely new animal and extremely fun which is why I thought we all did this. For the fun.
I am not sure what the point of this is though. Your car looks great and still does. I am not sure what you are trying to achieve here.

Yes, it was seven hundred and thirty days + or -.
I promise to never hide the TL from the public. It would be dick, lame, and wrong for me to do so.
Especially if all I did to the outside of it was add a voltex wing. lol
"HEY GUYS! My car is faster and has one difference on the exterior! AND GUESS WHAT?!..I don't have a single fucking video to show you either!"

haha thanks Tyler. Everyone is going to have their opinion on what looks good and what doesn't, what's ricey and what's not. It's really up to the owner to decide how they want their car to look.
I've got some plans for the TL. How about I just straight hide the car for 730 days and then I will make a thread showing you what I did?

If you read what I posted yesterday you would have noticed that the physical rebuild of the car didn't even start till mid March. Beginning of March to Beginning of October is only 214 days so it was somewhere around there.
The other thing you may be forgetting is that while the TSX was down I did build a show quality IS-F as well. I mean I probably could have done a bit more of what you said but I wanted to mod the daily as well.
Why don't you stop being disappointed and instead come have fun so we can whine superchargers all the way down route 40 instead.

However most mods at this point will be focused on tracking as that is where I plan to take it this summer.

I don't have an HD camera to record video. I have asked to meet up with you to make videos but obviously that has not taken place.

No, you guys go have fun at the meet.
This year has a been a record for amount of meets attended. If I tried to name all of the events I would probably leave some out.
I will go ahead and list the reasons for not attending.
1) I don't feel like driving back to RDU after having been these this past weekend
2) The TL is going to blow up soon, she is speaking to me and tells me so.
3) My business is picking up as a result of the approaching holiday
4) Dorthy's Dad is going to be here this weekend and he probably wants me to be around so he can hustle me into putting a ring on her finger.

1) I'll be back 3 weekends in a row
2) It better not!
3) Work on that crap during the week. You'll still have Sunday to do that!
4) If you like it you should put a ring on it.

It is ironic though you are deciding not to attend after all the fuss you made about there not being a meet this year. Especially when I did get it created with 3.5-4 weeks advance notice.

It's always had some weird evap code and traditionally i've been able to clear the ecu by disconnecting the battery and the CEL will stay off long enough for me to get it to an inspection machine, but when I tried my method the other week it only stayed off for 5 miles. I might try it again sometime.

Bring it up tomorrow and we can look at it. I still think you need the correct o2 sensor spacers. Also do you have the check engine code?

Seriously though I have 2-3 solutions to try for your evap issue. We meed the code though to get more specifics. If you come up tomorrow I can help you find the permanent fix for it.
