Now that's brutal. 30s are what most Dodge guys do on the rear if they have 22s, but that's on a 295. Somehow I get the feeling you didn't have 295s on the TSX LOL. I did see 30s on a 911 one time; they were truly rubber bands.
I only ran 35s on the TSX. The 30s and 25s are on the ISF. 245/30/20 front and 295/25/20 on the rear.

Still pretty small sidewalls, though. I look at 295/30s and think they're pushing it...yours have over half an inch less sidewall

Lol okay well I'm out of excuses . Do you guys think 245/40/19's would be alright next time I have to buy tires? I'm assuming it will probably rub a little in some places

I wouldn't think it would; it's only half an inch taller towards potential issues (1 inch overall, but half of that is under the car, half is into the wheel well). Unless you're slammed or have some silly offset on your wheels, you should be fine.

That dude cycles through so many jdm car parts. Much awesome. And this recent addition of a voltex swan neck is exactly what I would expect from him.

I guess I can post in this part of the forum now. lol Boyfriend and I just moved to Charlotte from St. Louis, MO. Up near Mt. Holly right off 485. Still rocking my '05 RL for now. Lots of decent Acura's in the Charlotte area!

Side note, any good/reputable shops down here other than dealerships to take our cars? Would rather not take it to random places like NTB/Meineke if or when something goes wrong with it if I can't fix it myself lol. Back home had tons of car friends, down here...not so much yet LOL

Thanks for the recommendations! The GT? It actually went to a new home in December. Sold it to a guy in Memphis, TN. Sucks too because if I knew I was moving to Charlotte before then, I would have kept it. The weather is way nicer here. I just never drove it in STL. I put maybe 1,200 miles on it the last year I owned it. I need to update my sig to take it out. I'm currently in the market for a newer GT500 here. Mustang girl at heart (next to Acuras). Had an 04 Cobra as well.

Here's some pics of the jalopy though.

Thanks! Was a fun car. I think a GT500 will fill the void. Nothing will beat the sweet turbo noises though. lol

Nice mustang.

Just now when I left to go to the post office a new mustang was behind me waiting to make the right turn and when I did the mustang did as well so I could tell it wanted some action. It must have gotten loose at some point because when I went to change lanes and get in front of the suv the mustang came real close to it as it was trying to stay with me (all of this was just moderate throttle) Then when I turned onto the next road the mustang when straight and the license plate said: BOOST? I started grinning. It was a silver 2015 GT.

Yeah that's crazy. A couple of the big Mustang shops are already doing some pretty heavy mods to them. I think one is working on a twin turbo kit too. You're definitely starting to see the 15's pop up like crazy around town. They are pretty cool looking for sure.

No I haven't taken her to the vet yet. She enjoys being promiscuous. Just like the mustang that wanted to have sex with her yesterday.

I can't wait for 485 to be finished. It'll save me easily 10 minutes since I won't have to deal with getting on 85 along with Harris.

Have you been by it yet? There's nothing but a few cones along where you would get on it at, and there's no signs that ACTUALLY say you aren't allowed on it yet , that I have seen .

I noticed that when I past the entrance to it last week while coming from Raleigh on 85. I was like damn I really just want to drive over those cones. When is the official opening date?

However, damnit now I will have to look to my left when leaving Northlake Dealership area and flying down at warp speed onto 485.

It's ( supposedly ) been open for months. I think I read somewhere about it being the longest highway construction in U.S. History. I guess they haven't heard of the Monroe Bypass yet, lol.
