I'm a fan of Stone Mountain Grill. Anyone else ever been there? If not you need to go as soon as possible and order the half chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. Effin Delicious.

Did you see it when it first started? The flakes were massive. I later learned that this was a deception. They were large because it was where the cold and warmer air meet and the flakes will bond together or coagulate. I thought it was going to snow like that for a while and if it did we would have had DEEP accumulations. Then it stopped. Then it rained. Then it snowed. And then it rained again.

But yeah I saw your video in the Subaru haha. Looked like fun.

big fan of stone mountain grill, been there a few times on the back porch to watch panthers games, its cool they have a lounge area too and not just standard tables. their charred wings are some of the best ive had. fish tacos are excellent as well. Havent had the chicken entree yet but it does sound good!

Yeah I love that section outside near the fireplace and all of those tvs. I will have to try those charred wings next time I go.

I've had that happen before, multiple times. It's where I learned to pick three at a time so hopefully I end up getting one.

Since we're on beer, I had a Goose Creek IPA last night...pretty good.

How's the car situation going?

The TL hasn't moved in 15 days

Someone from corporate contacted me wanting more information about it but that was days ago. I'm still driving a 2014 ES300h. It takes regular and gets 40 mpg so I don't really mind.

I've passes Stone Mountain Grill. Seems Like a neat place. Just have not made time to go in.

We could make that our meal place this Saturday if people want to? I made a post in the Charlotte Acura Group of Enthusiasts if anyone from here would like to chime in!

I spent the weekend in Pigeon Forge. Needless to say there was more snow there, but not a whole lot. Enough to make Amaretto snow creme!

Anyone Else enjoy their weekend?

Did anyone else catch Monday's Top Gear Episode?

Jeremy Clarkson did a bit on the new Lexus RCF in comparison to the LFA.

While having worked for Lexus for a period of time, I never did get the thrill of driving an RCF. I did enjoy the Launch event at Heist Brewery, but to see a performance comparison was the sprinkles on my sunday.

The RCF was sloppy. Weight Transfer was awful and it performed like a cow in comparison to anything.

They didnt even bother having the Stig Drive it around the track.

If anyone else saw that episode, chime in.

His review was brutal. While they are both from the same brand, I'm not sure why he was comparing a $60k 2+2 (RCF) with a $400k supercar (LFA). He is 100% accurate about the performance compared to the M4; the RCF is over 300 pounds heavier than the M4 and has much less torque. And why the hell no Stig test drive with a lap time? Clarkson is entitled to his opinion but he's not being subjective as a "reporter" by not giving all of the stats.

I've driven a RCF, the one pictured below, and not at one time was I disappointed with the power. The car is an absolute hoot to drive. The noise, the gizmos, the overall feel is fantastic. Yes, it's heavy. Yes, you feel it in the corners. Yes, low end torque isn't anything to write home about. Is it perfect? No. I'm not sold on the new RTI (remote touch interface), rear seat room is laughable, blind spots are noticeable, stock wheels are horrid, styling is questionable, etc. However, considering I'm no track fiend and no power freak, it would be one hell of a daily. It's a fantastic combination of power and luxury without bank-breaking maintenance costs compared to its German rivals.

I'm not just saying that because I work for Lexus either. It's a hell of a car and I would gladly drive one even when I'm done working here.

Considering this bit of info, I'll take Clarkson's review with a lighter touch. Personal opinion of someone in my realm of life is a little more valuable than a middle age'd man with a Jag across the pond.

Cars and Coffee? I Might go. Depends on if I am working or not.

This is one of the reason I think I will pass on the RC-F. I think the IS-F will be a much better track car and performance vehicle from Lexus than the RC-F. I don't by any means think it will be a bad car but I am starting to like handling first more and power second and it seems like from lots of reviews that the RC-F will be down on handling cause of the extra weight over the IS-F.

Tyler I think you should bring the white RC-F with red interior to cars and coffee and get pre approval for me to test drive it before you come. That would definitely make me come to cars and coffee.

The Fact that your car is still sitting and not addressed already, tells me someone is more than likely avoiding the issue, or not making it a priority.

Its BS either way.

I was contacted by a guy from corporate; I missed his call but he left me his information and a claim number. I called back and still haven't heard. I'm not sure if I need to take it to a certain place, when, etc.

I'm calling him again tomorrow to see what the hell I do next. I shouldn't have to chase people down.

long time since i been back in here, i see a decent amount of stuff been happening since i last poked in here.

first congrats on the new house tyler, and sorry for that dent in the tl.

eric the new jeep is great, look like you having more fun than your wife. like usual lol

bee - i saw the box on instagram hope it sounding good with that massive sub.

and hey to everybody else i just skimmed through like 10 pages so i apologize if i missed anything.

my tl hasn't had anything new, my air ride kit still hasn't been install (very lazy and too cold outside) still need to repair a few thing on it but it a trooper. still twerk champion of tl. (only bee and dan know about it)

don't know if i said but picked up an 2014 is250 f sport. yea yea i know should of got the 350 but it was a impulse buy and i really wanted to get rid of my civic.

with all this house buy talk, me and my wife are looking also we found a nice place here in greensboro but i don't know if i love it yet. big back yard with koi pond, fenced in, and huge deck with half of it covers. also has a nice 1 car garage with work shop space, and finished loft above it that heated and cooled.
the house it self it pretty small but it a nice starter home that like 1600 sq ft. 3 bd and 2.5 bath on an .25-.3 acre lot i forget. i just hope i can get qualified for that much. link below to see it, i think it might be a sign with all the texas themed stuff since me and my wife loved it in texas. feed back is appreciated

Max! Thanks for the kind words!

House hunting isn't exactly fun. The one you linked looks to be in great shape! The wood ceiling is interesting but not horrible. As for size, our house is only 1420 sq ft, so yours will be plenty. We won't be having kids for a while...we just wanted to have a bit more room than our current one-bedroom apartment provides.

Whatever you do, don't settle. Mitzi wanted a large lot and I wanted a 2 car garage. Those were MUST haves. If a house didn't have both, we didn't waste the time looking at it.

So I decided to wash the car since it was nice today, but my water hose was frozen .

Went out to the car wash with my bucket and soap. And car is clean now, so I will try to make it to C&C in the morning.
