Hey Norm, how much do you do detailing a car? Or if you can help me out? I have the Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Quik Detailer, but I just don't know if I'm using it wrong. i wanna wash the car before the meet, damn ashes.

To be honest, compounding by hand is too hard, even I have a hard time, and I never get the results that I want. Definitely need a buffer.

Detailer is easy, spray on, wipe and buff off with a microfiber towel.

ABS should keep that from happening?! Did your brake pedal pulsate? If it did, ABS is working.

Pretty sure the ABS is working. Well it was before, I broke in these pads when I first got the Brembos I did the bedding process here:

http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

which is pretty intense and I was glad I didn't get pulled over while doing it lol

Anyways that was a few months ago. I will try and test the brakes tomorrow and see if the ABS works or if they lock up again. I meant to do it on the commute home today but forgot.

I have stainless lines, motul rbf 600 fluid, brembo slotted and drilled rotors, my only weak point is my pads. I cheaped out and bought some Rotex kevlar gold pads because I wanted something low dust

Thinking about buying some better pads, these ones did start to fade pretty fast when I did the bedding procedure. Also the make a weird noise when I come to a complete stop now like a slight squeel right before I fully stop.

I wouldn't get a rotary. Too dangerous in the hands of a newbie. You'll end up burning your paint. A random orbital polisher like the Meguiars or a Porter Cable 7424XP is safe.

Or you can have me detail your car, running a special for Azine members:

I have rotex kevlar golds up front and oem in the rear. I think I am gonna swap the front rotors to stoptech, I have stoptechs in the rear, and get the stoptech pads to match.
