If anyone needs a mechanic in the SFV area, a buddy of mine is an ASE certified Honda Tech that currently works as a mechanic for the city of Los Angeles. He does side work on weekends and nights at his garage in Mission Hills, Ca. He does everything by the book, proper tools, proper torque specs etc. He doesn't do shortcuts or Mickey Mouse work.

sprint rated last in national reception. they're losing tons of customers each month.

450 talk time? it starts at $119.99 w/ unlimited text and data with 700 shared minutes on non-smart phones.

if u're an employee of certain companies u get a monthly discount on the primary line. the most i've seen is 25% for home depot employees

the account holder usually has an annual upgrade due, while the other lines only get an upgrade every 2 years.

so if ur account holder has an annual upgrade due + is willing to give it to u then u can get the tour.

Anybody good with leveling off balance HID's? They go up way too high... LA/OC area...

 

Here's what I'm trying to setup. I know this really cool guy named George that has a tire shop in San Dimas called Tire Pros (just above Raging Waters off of the 57fwy) and tomorrow I'm going to go there and talk to him to see if he would give Acurazine members discounted prices on tires. I'm sure he can get any tire you want and I do know he doesn't charge for mounting/balancing/valve stems/etc. So if I can generate some real interest this can be a good thing for so. cal. A'zine members (maybe he would be willing to ship tires to out of state members, not really sure how that works.). I'll have more info on this tomorrow to see if he is interested.

 

does he offer lifetime balancing/rotation as well as alignments? Im a bit disgusted with discount tires

 

I'm not really sure, but I was going to bring this up with him because I know Firestone has that lifetime alignment deal and I'll ask if this is something he would do or does do. I'll have more details tomorrow for sure.
