haha my buddy needed his camera back so i'm not sure if i'll have it back in time. if we're doing night photos, i'll for sure need a tripod.
haha nope but i'm a huge supporter as you can probably tell. i just hangout with them and go to car shows/meets with them. i've driven several cars to shows for them too. my car is not worthy of being in royal flush just yet. need some wheels first

BWW sounds good! as for large parking lots, we can always hit up the PCC parking structure. they recently filled the lot with white LEDs so the lighting there is alot better than before. but it also depends what day and time we go since there are classes in session (might be alot of cars still there).
we did a shoot there awhile back and we never got in trouble.
not really too sure since they were my friend's lens. i just borrowed them for a sec. it's really nice though, i love it. there's no vignetting around the picture and the contrast comes out perfect with little editing to tamper with!
i'll let you know when i ask my friend.
i'm free thursday and friday night around that time.

Exactly well said Henry I'm out in simi valley which is not close to anything but I drive and don't whine about it lol. Can't always have a group meet in your home town city only

lighting is not bad i would say, but in night situations, its good to always have one. im not steady without one anyways 
plus i'm sure we wanna go on top of the structure with the night sky in the background!

hey.. if the [tsx c l u b] guys from SD can come up to OC like last time, i don't understand why others can't! distance should be the least of people's concerns when it comes down to meets imo.. (yes i know gas prices are ridiculous right now), but when there hasn't been a meet for a year already, you would expect alot of people to come out and enjoy some BBQ with fellow aziners but i've been proved wrong.

im not one to bitch about driving im always at different meets and shows just wish azine would get together more often... last one i went to was mainly a tsx meet but still fun and had a great time bbq'n and chillin with everyone

yeah that sucks. I know this past weekend there was a huge caravan from LA/OC area to SD. That was fun. I'd love a future OC meet...being in the middle of both LA and SD, I would hope that would be "neutral ground" and equal travel distances.

Im not blaming people for not showing up. I understand there are many things that come up last second that has to be taken care of or others have something already planned on the day of the meet. I guess you can call it frustrating when you plan a meet way ahead of time and there still isnt enough interest for it to happen so it has to be cancelled and it sucks for the other 5 or 6 who actually wanted to go. When i, as socal regional coordinator, create meets.. I try and find a reasonable spot that everyone agrees to.
As for oc meets, im all for it if it makes everybody happy. Im always down there anyways and i think it'd be a great area to host a meet. Im gonna plan a meet within the next month; course a feeler thread first.

I know there's a couple of 2nd Gens down in south SD too, but don't think they are active on the forums enough.
BTW most people forget that socal isn't just LA
p.s. I was right...I was the only 2nd gen at the meet this past weekend.....so ronery
