i think i read somewhere in canon forum that 1/60 with al servo in Tv mode setting is the best for rolling shot.. but whatever. just try different setting.

drove my friends IS300 in 5MT... was quite fun but i was scared to push it...
popped his hood open so i can give it an oil change and w..t....f....
his intake filter looked like it imploded.....
couldn't do much since he was gone so i just dusted it.. rinsed it a little and slapped it back on...
poor car.. i should buy it off him.

Drifting
not true. panning shot settings depend on a lot of things (available light, ISO speed, lens speed, subject luminance, etc) and a 1/60 is not the "best". not too long ago, the flash sync for most cameras is 1/60 to freeze subjects at night/low light - your subject would have to be practically flying to blur a bit at 1/60.
personally my shutter speeds range from 1/15~1/40 at the most. the couple below iirc were shot between 1/25~1/40 wide open.

you're right thanh, haha. it is o'reilly now LOL :-P
hm...i read online that the new M1 formulation isn't as good as the old one unless you buy the extended protection version. not too sure about this though, it's just from what i've read online. Regardless, they're both decent oil and will do their job.
"Up until recently,Mobil 1 was a true synthetice, not the faux synthetic like Syntec and others are. Now,Mobil's gone and changed the formulation so it's the same type as the other hybrid synthetics, and is nowhere near worth $6 qt.
I've switched all of mine but the Tbird back to Motorcraft synth blend. It's cheap, easy to get,and works great with regular changes.I've got a good friend that's been doing oil analysis for some time on his F150 using the Motorcraft oil,and it always comes back in superb condition-even after 5000 miles.

"It's now a hybrid synthetic-Mobil sued Castrol a few years back for claiming their oil was "Full synthetic" when they changed their formula to include group III base stocks. Castrol won that lawsuit. True 100% synthetics do not use group III base stocks-they use PAO/Ester base stock, which Mobil 1 no longer does. Basically Mobil 1 is no better than Syntec or any of the other group III base stock synthetics now,and is in no way worth $6/qt. Amsoil,Redline,VP,and Royal purple are the only oils right now that I know of that are using true 100% synthetic basestocks.
