then why are you modding it?

find out for sure before you continue.

and i wouldn't get a 3G if its AT... its just like keeping your TL..

you get just a new exterior and new interior but you still have the transmission failures..

honestly I wouldnt get a 3g if its auto like Josh said.. Only reason i have my 3rd gen is bkuz its my sisters old TL and im driving it now..

If u get a 3rd gen get TL-S 6spd buy Scott's

but honestly I think you should just use the money and get a drop I would love to have a 99-01 TL to mod
