If I buy your Morimoto D2S 6000k bulbs and purchase a new set of morimoto ballast from the retrofit source, would it be a direct plug and play? My oem ballast are bad and i need a new set.

Yes these Morimoto D2S 6000k bulbs will work with the Morimoto D2S Ballast. These bulbs will actually work with any D2S Ballast. They also have D2S adapters if you want to use a non-oem ballast.

These are fairly easy to install. no cutting wires needed. there's lots of guides on how to do it here, but i can guide you through it if needed. heres a amazon link of the load resistors you will need to prevent hyper flash rates.

you just need hid ballasts. no relays needed, but you can hook it up to one if you like.

I just compared some h11 bulbs with the h8. H11 bulbs use a metal clip to install the bulbs. H8 are just a twist on.

I do have 4300k H11 bulbs if anyone is interested! best offer

h7's use the metal clip. I just looked up the differences and the h11 has a wider locking tab where modification is needed to get a h11 to fit in an h8 socket but supposedly h8 fits in h11 sockets just fine.

While the H8 and H11 bulbs look identical, the three prongs on the base that screw into the headlight assembly are slightly different, just different enough that the H11 wouldn’t go into the H8 socket. I simply filed away at the one metal tab that was much wider than on the H8, and voila, after a few minutes, it slid into the housing and locked when turned.

oh okay. i was doing a visual comparison. i guess they would work with modifications if you're fine with that. let me know if youre still interested!
