Try again, this site is weird, I'm only allowed to have one active private message, which is the one I sent you, I just deleted it.

Do you know more about what TL these are for specifically? I know they will fit all 3g TL's, but the spring rates are slightly different for auto/6m, Type S, etc.

One more question, I'll avoid PM's until my box opens up, how is the ride with these, compared to stock?

PM replied.

Yes, I know they will fit the type-s and should work with any 3G as far as I know. If I am wrong someone please correct me regarding "jasonleary's" question.

I was going to use them on an 05' Base Auto.

I can't say personally as I never installed them.

Quoted from member 'SharksBreath' in another thread "I have these springs on my 07 type-s w/ stock shocks. ride quality is great, you can't even tell a difference in my opinion. best thing i've done so far to mine."

jason, buy these springs. they pair great with stock shocks and the drop is nothing major, so they don't put too much stress on OEM shocks.

check out my thread in the photos section to see pictures of drop, page 2-3 maybe?

$110 plus shipping is a good deal for these. glws OP

Just for future reference since I had called Eibach about this exact question...

4044.140 ('04-08 TL) and 4070.140 ('07-08 Tl Type-S) are the same springs and spring rates, and are cross-compatible with any 3G TL model (and I'm assuming the '03-05 Accord V6 as well). The *ONLY* difference being that the 4070.140 comes with rear bump stops

the rear bump stops is not the only difference, the weight, depth, width and the height of the spring all is different. That's why I backed out, if the difference was only the bumpers stop I didn't mind but all the spring have different specs. Now I'm waiting for the refund and Boostingaz thanks for understand.

what is going on here?

i got 4044.140 eibachs (springs only) installed on my 07 type-s with no problems whatsoever. i took my stock suspension apart, took out the OEM springs, and installed the eibachs on my stock shocks, then reinstalled onto the car. done.

jdm, you would have been just fine with these springs.

sorry boost. someone else will pick these up.

If the type-s springs are indeed different, the springs for the base tl will actually look BETTER on the type-s than the ones 'designed' for it. The eibach springs dont offer much of a front drop (at least on my '05 6mt) so the more weight up there (autos, type-s's), the more drop you will get in the front.

As a new member I believe it will let you do (1) PM at a time and you have to delete them after every send/receive. He sent me a pm?
