I have a set of 07-08 OEM Acura TL type s Mudgurads brand new with mounting hardware painted factory white TPO, its the pearl white TL color. Looking to get 50.00 obo and i am willing to ship. Might fit other years but came out of a 07 type s

Whats there to chime in about? They are WDP no other white available on the TL's. They all say TPO molded in the plastic.

Also, just for anyone curious these will NOT fit a regular non Type S. I found that out the hard way when I purchased a set of type S ones for my non type S.

What year TL did you try to put it on? From what I understand, they will fit the 06 model. Now you have me worried..... I'll take my stock ones off and see if the hardware or flaps match for mounting.

These are type S splash gaurds they WILL NOT fit a 04,05,06,07,08 base TL. Now your gonna have a set of splash gaurds that dont fit just like I do. lol I bought a used set here from the forums off a type S. They dont fit.

 

We'll see about that. I'll make them fit if I have to.
I still don't see your reason on why they don't fit. They look identical to the factory set I have now. Same amount of screw holes....same bracket design....same size guards. If they don't fit then fine, but you are lacking any facts to your claim other than that you couldn't get them on. Now if I'm wrong, I did basically throw money away but like I said, with them being that identical, very simple modification will allow them to fit.

 

Alright here are the facts I have (which I thought I did state).
This is exactly what I did.
I own a 2007 base TL
Someone on the forums listed a set of splash gaurds off of his 2007 TL Type S. I bought them assuming they were the same since the cars looked basically identical.
I received the gaurds the fronts seemed to fit although the curvature was slightly off where it seats against the lower side skirt (maybe they were just warped from a couple years of use and do infact fit). The rears came nowhere close to fitting. The Type S rear bumper is actually completely different in shape and you could not get those to fit even if you tried. They will mount but the rear part where it seats flush with the bumper is different.

Unless the 04-06 bumper is different than the 07-08 base TL bumper but the same as the 07-08 Type S bumper then you are fine. I just dont think it is.

After all this I realized all my local Acura dealerships stock painted splash gaurds and I went and bought some for a whopping $100 bucks. Brand new from dealership perfect fit no clue why I just didnt do this in the first place.

Report back when they arrive that way I can say I told ya so :-) no im only kiddin man was just trying to save you from the same hassle I went through. And it didnt work haha
