I have put $3,000 into this car since I bought it. It runs like a charm. The only issue is a leak from the rear main seal. This is a common issue with h22a4 motors, nothing to worry about. Either replace it yourself, or just top it off with oil every now and then.
This is a great deal for someone who wants a turnkey car. If I wanted to rip you off, I wouldn't tell you about the seal.
