3G TL Type S Custom MGP Caliper Covers

Category: Brakes
Price: $200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G, Type-S Model
Location (State/Prov/Terr): TX
Item Condition: Used

Custom MGP Caliper Covers with "Type S" logo.

These are the first ever set built by MGP with the "Type S" logo. MGP recently received rights to use the Honda/Acura logos in their caliper covers, but they did not have the Type S logo in stock. These are the result of about 2 months of back and forth with MGP customer service and engineers to get the logo and coloring just right. We went through various proofs and these were the final version that ultimately won me over.

These calipers covers will clear the factory Type S wheels and other non stepped lip wheels that are 17" or larger. They did not clear my 18" stepped lip three piece wheels due to the smaller inner barrel and beefier hub. After all of the hard work and follow up to get these mounted, they just didn't fit right with my wheels. My work is your gain, and I'm passing them along for the price I paid. No charge for the design fees and coordination with MGP. My loss your gain for this one of a kind piece of 3G TL goodness.

$200 shipped

I don't get it, why would any Type-S owner, or any 6MT owner for that matter, want to cover up the beautiful Brembo brake calipers?

To each his own, but while these might not be your cup of tea, some prefer even more exclusivity or personalization. They're stamped Type S anyway, so they'd just be posing on your 6MT. Thanks for the bump.

You guys should get a room and talk about how pure your tastes for modding are. Find a PM and hate elsewhere, I prefer respectful questions and interest and not attempts to sabotage a sale thread.

Oy vey, attitude and zero objectivity. One of the first things one should learn before trying to bring a product or service to market is to not fall in love with said product or service. Clearly you have no objectivity and as such think you have a market for something not one person in ten-thousand would buy.

Objectivity is understanding that these aren’t everyone’s taste, but also understanding someone may still be interested. I literally said that in response to your post above.

Of course I like them or else I wouldn’t have bought. But I’m not so naive to think that everyone else likes them too.

”Not one person in ten thousand would buy...”, now that sounds objective.

Thanks again for the bump. I’ll take it as a sign of support.

Can we just leave this as a sale thread now and let those browsing come to their own conclusions? Thanks.

We have had enough comments and now we need to get back to the sale part of this thread.

And 3 BPR's are enough for one thread.

Bumping your own thread because you cannot sell them?

Since you have never posted a thread in the Black Market you probably don't know that a bump is what people do to get their thread moved up the page and as long as it is legally done there is no problem in doing so.

If there has been any post made by anyone during a particular day, meaning the time stamp in the upper left hand corner reads "Today", a bump is not necessary and should not be posted.

I like those covers but I can’t really visualize how’d they’d look on my Type S. What kind of rotors are those? And do you like them? I need new rotors and I’m considering going slotted.

Those rotors are Adam's Rotors in the overslotted AR Sport II pattern (adam's rotors | custom brake rotors, made-to-order). Not something I'd ever seen anyone run on our cars They looked great and felt great.
