Overall I'd consider the car to be in very good shape. Not excellent only due to the fact that it does have 164,000 miles so there are maybe 4 or 5 door sings around it, and some rock chips. The paint is in what I would consider 85-90%
condition with 100% being a concours Ferrari 250 GTO so pristine that you'd have to wipe it down with baby foreskin.I'd also like to be as transparent as possible with this sale. The car was involved in 2 accidents that I know of. The
previous owner had a vehicle back into him and had very minor damage to the hood, and 1 headlight. It was repaired, however it was done rather poorly, and rust began to form under the paint on the corner of the hood near the grill.

In December of 2016 I was not paying attention, and thought my light had turned green which in fact it was the turn lane. I released the clutch and rear ended a stopped vehicle in front of me at sub 5mph. I have included photos of the
damage immediately taken after the incident. There was obviously no frame, or even radiator support damage. The corner of the hood which was trashed anyway was bent, headlights had cracked brackets and the bumper got chewed
up. The entire front end was replaced through my insurance and ONLY OEM parts were used. I can provide the repair estimate as well. Work was performed by Airport Road auto body in Hartford, CT. For what its worth they were the first,
and still only 1 of 2 certified Tesla body shops in the state. If I didn't mention this you would of never known thats how well of a job they did, but again I want to be transparent.

Included with the vehicle is a binder of service records, and receipts for all the replaced parts from 29,000 miles to 164,000 miles. There was a lot of stuff replaced under the CPO warranty by the previous owner, and I have kept almost
all the receipts for the work I've done to the car.

Finally, the following things are things I'd consider “wrong” with the car.
  • Power steering pump is intermittently stiff at idle engine speed only. It very well might need a rebuild, and I will most likely do this before I sell the car in the coming weeks.
  • I had a local dealership perform a brake fluid flush when I replaced the calipers. The jamoke who did the work let fluid bleed all over the freshly painted calipers so the finish could use a repaint. Kits are cheap, and its an easy afternoon
DIY should you choose to do it. Its an eyesore more than anything.
  • As you can see in the photos the passenger side seat cover is torn. This is a common issue on the 07-08 Type S. You could find a shop to patch it, or repair it. Shouldn't be too expensive. There is also a shop in Springfield, MA that offers
tailored very high quality replacement covers for all 4 seats and the arm rest in various colors and materials. I was considering doing should I keep the car.
  • Oil change is due around October.
  • Light in the passenger seated heat switch is intermittent. I have the replacement bulb, just haven't gotten around to installing it.
If you're still here then you know how uncommon this car is. Cars.com currently has 12 vehicles for sale across the continental United States. Of those 12 none are Moroccan Red Pearl. Internet myths have lead to say that it was the rarest color optioned in the manual
transmission. I don't know the validity of that statement. What I can tell you however I that you will be hard pressed to find another one for this price, this well looked after, in this nice of shape. Price is $9,900 obo. Please don't waste my time, and I won't waste yours.

Thanks!

One of the best written car ads I have ever seen, with No details left out. Beautiful car, and I'm sure it will sell very quickly.

Yeah I personally think the Red is the rare TLS color. I live in NYC and have seen more Blue TLS then black or silver so that says a lot

GLWS , I agree, this is the "best" color IMO , you have to see an MRP in person to appreciate this color. Together with 18" aspec wheels, car looks amazing.
