Great photo opportunities near the lake and just a nice view and great time if the weather cooperates!! We always have a small but super nice bunch of people show up to the Milwaukee meets and the conversation, food, and of course the cars are worth the trip! Come on out for one of the last Midwest meets of the season...

It's looking like partly sunny and highs in the mid 70's!! I won't get too excited because it's still early and this is Wisconsin, but let's all cross our fingers and hope for a rare nice day here in Mil-town.

 

just wanted to chime in on the thread, i wont be able to make the meet, i wont be in town. actually leaving on the 14th in the morning. I did let the other Legend guys know about the meet, i'm not sure on their exact plans. have fun guys!

 

Thanks for the update SaraWI. I forgot to re-subscribe to this thread. After the forum update i lost all my subscriptions. I didn't know the date changed, I'm mad to say that I can't make it now. I have a video shoot scheduled for work right in the middle of the day. If for some reason it gets moved or changed then i will be out there for sure. Good luck guys/girls on the meet. I'm mad i'm missing the first meet thats been close enough to go to...

Sorry guys but I'm not ignoring this. I am waiting for my repaired headlight to be returned to me, I sent it off Monday and with some luck I'll get it back by the weekend.

Since it's so far maybe we could all meet up and take one car!

It cracks me up that you guys think it's far. I used to drive over to visit friends in Lyons every single weekend. It's really a nice drive actually..esp on a nice day!

IT WAS A JOKE! Sometimes it takes longer to drive to Chicago from my house than Wisconsin. We used to do it all the time when the drinking age was 18 on your side of the border.

Ok..so are we still on, people? I checked the weather again today and it still looks like a decent day. 70's and sunny. Going to be crap on Saturday so I hope you guys don't expect a perfectly detailed car..lol. It will have to go though the gas station car wash and that's about the best I'll be able to do Sunday morning.

As for food, Chad. I think sho_nuff said he'd bring some chips, I'm bringing a dip and a dessert. Maybe you could bring some brownies or cookies or something like that? If you guys really want lunch, maybe I could get a platter of subs or something like that.

I'd be cool with it if we had at least 6. We did a meet once with six and it was nice...some people had gf's or wives with and I think my bf is coming so it would be more like 8 or so..

 

I haven't seen posts for any meets until this one, that are anywhere near me. Well there was one, but it was too late by the time I saw the post. It was right by my old office in Glenview. They were having it at the Burger King right down the street...

 

SaraWIimma be by myself so why bring him..u can be my date...lol...j/k...

i did get word that there might be a few legend guys there, one i know for sure, he said his is coming.

 

I don't know, guys. We are now up to a 40-50% chance of rain all damn day on Sunday thanks to the hurricane. Granted, this is Wisconsin and the metorologists don't know the weather from their ass, but I am worried now. Thoughts..suggestions...???

Ok..check it out. MrChad said he's coming up either way because he's doing a little sightseeing on Monday. I suggested that we meet up for a late lunch and if anyone here wants to join us and meet up a little less formally, I'd be happy to head out to a fun local restaurant and just hang out.

I'm thinking the formal meet can wait until next summer when the chance of decent weather, and thus a better turnout, in Wisconsin is more likely. Thanks to everyone who continued to post and PM to try to get something going. Sucks that we couldn't do it now, but I look forward to meeting some of you next season AND...
