What color does this lip come in? I have a Black 3.0 so will I have to get it painted or does it come in a black that will match my car?

 

It's a black urethayne, it won't match your car, trust me, if I were you i'd get it painted. I'm painting mine when I put my new bumper cover on. This is what they look like unpainted.

 

Can you estimate how much you think it'll cost to paint it? Also how long do think it would take? Could I just show up at some place and have them spray it real quick and then go? One last question how long does car paint take to dry? If you can't tell, I've never had my car painted before.

paint it yourself. go buy some adhesion promoter, duplicolor metallic black paint, and clear coat and go to town. sand it first. then after it all drys good, go back and wetsand with 600, 2000, then rubbing compound. I did that with my stock skirts and rear lip the other weekend and it turned out nice.

 

Wow that sounds like alot. I've never done that before. I think I'd rather pay someone than try to do all that. I don't trust myself when it comes to stuff like that. Maybe if there was a thorough DIY guide I'd do it. Also I gotta find the time for all that, plus I'd have to buy the tools. I don't have a wetsander, I don't even have a dremel. I know I know that's blasphemy but maybe someday I'll get one.

I dont have a wetsander or a dremel either. bucket of water + hands FTW I can write you some instructions if youd like

 

Spray bottle and some sand paper, I didn't even use a sanding block for my bumper, all hand, but the lip will be done with a block, wetsanding is supposed to be done by hand
