(I give you my type s rims you give me your base tl rims, we swap out tires at a local shop and tpms and you give me $250 in my hands we say good day ) don't know how much they charge to balance tires and all that but if your tires are good depending how many miles on them we don't swap tires as mentioned mine have 4k miles on them. curb marks acceptible on the other hand bent rims hellz no kid lol

The tail lights I am interested are the 07/08 Base TL, NOT 04-06, number of pm's have been regarding 04-06

 

I'll ship you my 2006 TL rims/tires with TPMS sensors already installed (near mint condition), about 5K miles on the tires...

You ship me yours when you get them on. I want the Type-S wheels for winter driving (Volks come off in the winter).

I'll even ship first, casue mine are just sittin in the garage.

Kennedy I am looking for the BASE 07/08 RIMS...

I am looking for the following and only the following
(I can get the 04-06 rims and tails from one of my friends, for free, but that is not what I want)

 

I figured I'd throw it out there... Free? Go that route then. I like the 06 5 star more than the base 07s anyway. I actually prefer the stock 5 star over the type-s, but the dark color is great in the winter.

Maybe I'll just get my 5 stars powdercoated gunmetal...

BTW, ALL 07/08s come with TPMS. You should be able to trade rims tires straight up. No need to swap sensors.

 

soooo if you're going full sleeper, you wanna trade me your rear sidemarkers for stock red? I'll hold onto my wheels and taillights though bc those were the top 2 reasons why I bought this car.

 

hrmm something to keep in mind with those base TL rims.. will they clear the brembos ? ... in the past ... all tl's used the same rims (6 speed and auto) so brake clearance was not an issue ... but this time around ... the BASE tl .. does not have brembos

anyone actually do a test fit of these to see if they work ?

 

as a followup to my prev reply.. i am 100% sure they will work .. as i remember .. when i was picking up my TL-S .. there was a guy who bought a black one and did not like the stock S wheels and had the dealer swap them for the BASE tl wheels..

 

Yeah man one of my boys has them, the reason I want them is cuz he let me roll with them on for 15 mins... I swear to go they look damn sexy on the nbp

hey still here... a little tail light knowledge for ya...

most people (when they upgrade to 07 TLS lamps) only change HALF of the taillight. in order to from 04+ Base or 07+ Type S to the 07+ Base taillights, you need to swap the ENTIRE lighting fixture, with the LED boards. its a little more work then just the outer lense portion of the lights... my 2cents.

P.S... wanna go even stealthier?? trade your headlights to somebody for their base headlights. its a pretty simply task, just need to pull the front bumper off... plenty of people with base TL's will want the TLS headlamps. you can probably get like $200 for a swap

 

type s headlights trade um NEVER I love em... as for the tails... yeah I know meng I am down for the task, cuz I want them with the clear section (mercedes benz style) hehehe

Okay well i debadged my car and kinda regret taking the TL part out. So now i want that 07 emblem where the TL is slanted i believe. i drive an 06, so when you are saying the T and the L are they still attached or are they broken? Pm me and i will send out 5 bones to ya.
