With all due respect, I'm guessing this thread has no interest because a seller on ebay is offering this kit for $950 plus shipping which would end up being the same price.
I'm interested in a kit for an 06 TL and I'm sure you could get a lot more interested parties if the price was $900 shipped or something like that.
No flame intended, just stating the obvious...

I own my own business so I can appreciate having to get a price that makes a profit worthwhile, but the beauty of a 'group buy' is to combine the number of units sold and typically a retailer will discount enough to make it worthwhile to those who are on the fence.
If we are the same price as a guy selling individual units, then the group buy is irrelivant. Now if 10 people ordering get's the price down to $900 shipped, then that's a group buy worth checking out.

can I get in on this deal too if 8 more are in?

PAYMENT SENT
I finally got my exhaust for my 3gen TL. It only took 34 days to get it to my door!
I talked to Comptech today and they said that they are waiting for their muffler source to ship them more mufflers. So beware that it'll take a while to get your exhaust if its coming straight from Comptech. But the odd thing is ... I called them this morning ... and they told me that they didn't ship any exhausts out within the last 30 days ... and then it shows up on my porch 2 hours later. I guess they aren't on top of it or they didn't bother to look up my exact order. Either way I didn't plan on it taking this long at all. It's only 4 peices. 2 mufflers, then 2 pipes leading up to the engine. Then 3 ring clamps. I'll post a DIY by mid next week for ya'll that want to do it yourselves.
I already have pics of the exhaust on my floor if anyone wants it. Send a pm with an email address.

Man. I'm tired of waiting too! I ordered mine almost a month ago and still haven't heard any news yet. Oh well, I guess if I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer. Not too long I hope.
I guess this group buy isn't working out. It seems damn hard to get 6 more people!
I don't mind paying full price. Just give me my exhaust!

I think he says he's getting a whole bunch in the same time. From the looks of it, if the exhaust comes in before 10 people are in, then I'm getting it. I can't wait for 5 more people to join in! I'm very impatient as you can clearly see!

Sorry guys....I'm removing myself from the list. I decided to go with Apexi WS II for lesser price. I wanted to save more money to get my rims. Sorry guys. Good luck with the list.
