Deciding on AV6 swap

From my searches the Honda Accord and sedans 2003 to 2010 have high fail rate , so is the 06/07 BAYA an exception?
. I have been initiated to tranni failure with my 03 TL but currently have it out of limp mode.
If anyone would care to say how their swap turned out in the long run it would be greatly appreciated!

I swapped in an AV6 trans with 160k miles on it, don't remember the mileage on the motor at the time. Abused & redlined daily, often throwing it into 2nd gear on the highway, and the motor went before the transmission did. I think that speaks wonders on how much more reliable they are.

My question though, is just how much power they can withstand, aka boost. Not like boosting an auto is simple due to the tuning issue.

Thanks so much to "The fireball " for sharing your experience. Sounds pretty solid to invest time and money since I would like to keep this car.
thanks you!
