I found 2010 Sh-awd with 172k $7895 is good to buy a TL with the miles or will it have problems?

 

w/tech? It is important to read through the 4G problems and fixes. The biggest being oil consumption issue with the 3.7
Otherwise the 4G is well built

Just be prepared to deal with any problem that comes with a high mileage vehicle. Overall the 4G is pretty reliable but it doesn't matter how well a vehicle is engineered if it hasn't been maintained. I'd pay particular attention to how the transmission fluid looks/smells and the condition of the suspension when you test drive it. I'd also up and down shift it in sport mode several times to make sure there isn't any slipping or other shifting problems. Listen for the propeller shaft "whir" and see if there's excessive soot on the tailpipes.
