My understanding is that if you go with the Accord M/T then you will lose the LSD.

Well it's been a while guys so I figure I'll do a little update for everyone. Took me a couple months to find the right one but I bought a 03 cl-s 6mt that runs and drives for about 1200 all said in done after the dilevery fees. Bought it from an auction site online and it should be arriving late this week or early next week. So I started prepping the tl to be torn down so I can swap all the necessary parts over to my car and have a nice tl-s that's a 6 speed

You're swapping in the majority of the CL-S interior?
If so, sweet, I believe that swap has been done a few times.
Your TL came with GPS or is that an aftermarket unit?
Been looking for the full OEM TL GPS setup for awhile, myself.

If the CL has no NAV, swap over the A/C controls and dump the TL NAV. Just kicking around thoughts

If you are willing/able to pull the full gps system, minus the screen, I will buy it off you.

Let me know, thanks.

yeah man i can do that just let me know what all parts i need to remove and we can set up something when i get time to pull it all out

also the screen works its just the part beneath the touch panel has been slow cracking and chipping off but there is a black dot in the center of the screen as well but again it still works just not the best looking piece as seen in the above pics but i know you can get a new screen for a decent price

Awesome, thanks, will check online and see if I can find the full parts list.

I can find a screen replacement, that is easy enough. Are you keeping the same dash panel/HVAC setup for the GPS or switching to the non-GPS dash/HVAC setup? I only ask, so that I know if I will have to find the dash panel/HVAC control setup for GPS.

I am in no rush, so, sure, whenever you have time to pull it is fine.

Will get that part list to you asap.

ill be switching over to the standard ac controls so you will get the whole dash piece etc only thing you should need would be a new screen

i might even swap over to the new dash to make it a little more easy lol

Appreciate that, thank you.

Glad to see you sticking with this project, should be even more of a blast once the engine/tranny swap is done.

Sell it to a local junk yard with the motor minus the parts you took for $500 and you got yourself a pretty cheap conversion

Looks like the CL went through the same busted lower ball joint that got my 6GA written off a few years ago.

If that was all the damage my car had, I would be still driving it today, you are getting a car that looks like it's in very good shape, thankfully.

Yeah from the looks of it, it took a corner of a bumper to the rim and partially the front quarter panel.

And now the fun begins!

Pretty sure you should be able to have a successful part out of the car, so that should help in recouping the money you spent on getting it.

Got the motor pulled out. I think to save on time of swapping lots of parts from one motor to the other I'm just gonna do a quick timing belt and water pump in the new cl-s motor and keep the 3.5 as a back for later.

But anyeays gonna start the interior stuff tomoro morning
