Got it. That's pretty much the scenario I made up in my head. I'll keep track of them then.
Thanks for the info.

Hello,
I've been having a lot of problems with these pop-up ads and also complete redirects that won't let me return to Acurazine no matter how many times I press the back button. This is using an Iphone on mobile view and it happens anywhere on the forum for me including the main page. Ads like "congrats you are the 300/400 people" or shit like that. I'll take screen shots next time it happens.

It's only began happening this past week or so. Never ever had the problem before. I only updated to the latest update on thursday and this was happening before that (however before that I was still on 10.1) I believe.

So strange.
maybe don't use the mobile version of the site for the time being.
scroll all the way to the bottom and hit that "view full site" button

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that and see how it goes because now it's happening everytime I come on here. I have to admit I'm surprised Jason hasn't responded yet, he's usually SUPER fast with this stuff.

We hope to have it resolved soon, but in the meantime, Mizouse's suggestion of trying Desktop View should be a safe alternative. We serve different ads on desktop and mobile, so presumably whatever's sneaking past us on mobile at the moment is not on desktop. That said, in the off change you do encounter similar ads in Desktop View, please let me know.
Thanks!

Sorry, I was out of the office these past few days. While I was gone, our ad team continued to work with our partners to figure out where this uptick of rogue ads is coming from.

It’s getting bad too. And seems to be mainly in the ramblings section.

The desktop site isn’t any better. You can work around it somewhat by stopping the page load and hitting “back”.
