Does anyone know what these silver interior trim pieces are? I have never seen them before. I'm referring to the ones covering the nav screen and the radio.

Are these specific for Canadian TLs or are they aftermarket parts? I found this picture on one of eh? spec 's posts.

is that MPG screen exclusive for 04-06 TL? or is that something that you can hack in a 04-06 TL?

 

^good eye! it's the Nav hack, which allows instantaneous MPG readout.
the only shitty thing about it is if you disconnect your battery for whatever reason, the NavHack reverts back to stock.

 

in my RL its actually has a read out menu in the navigation screen just like above also I do get instantaneous MPG read out via MID also.

Only the 04-06 Nav Hack allows you to get "instantaneous MPG readings".
07/08 models don't have any instantaneous MPG readings anywhere. Only average MPG since you last reset.

 

Lack of an instantaneous MPG indicator is one more place Acura fucked up, in addition to the missing side mirror turn signal indicators on the '04-'06 while the models above and below (the TSX and the RL) came with them those years.

^^^didn't your TL window sticker show the mirror turn signal indicate was "standard" option? vs actual is no indicator for 04-06 TL.
