2010 Aspen White Pearl 64,000 miles, I am the 3rd owner, found it at a Carmax and had transfered to Kentucky for me after searching for a solid year. She has the upgraded 20 inch Advance wheels, LED running boards, mud guards, rear spoiler, interior wood trim all over, cargo cover. Will be adding the back up sensors, new 6000k or 8000k HID's and changing fogs from stock to LED, may also update the overall headlight casing. Will tint front windows, windshield strip, and pano roof, and may put lighter tint over rear stock. Lot's of little things to come!

The first time I encountered a ZDX was just last year, 10/15. Came up on it on the highway and figured it was a brand new Honda model. After I got closer I noticed the Acura badges and began my search to see what this car was all about. I could only find one in Colorado, a 2013 and it was a tad out of my price range, didn't bother to go up for a test drive.
After a few months of searching I found a number of cars in my price range all out of state and not quite right as far as options, color or miles. Then I located one on Cars.com that looked right, but it was in Broken Arrow OK. I contacted the dealer Kris Nikel Chrysler, Jeep to verify they still had the vehicle. They did, but I needed to complete a home refi before I could make a move. It almost sold but they could not get financed..I offered $500 to hold the car until 3/5 which was the first date I could fly out to look at the car and they took my money. In the interim, I check out the dealer and CarFax which looked solid. Pics looked good and it only had 19K on it.
The dealer agreed to pick me up at the airport in the car and drive back to the dealership for the test drive. I walked out the door at the airport, saw the car and fell instantly in love...this was only the second ZDX I had ever seen in person and the first one in the daylight and I thought, I get to drive/own this thing!!!
The car was next to perfect and still had that new car smell, even after 6 years. Some of the longest minutes of my life were spent waiting for finance to get the paper work ready.
I was glad I had done some homework on the nav system beforehand, In a short time I had the car vectored in on Littleton, CO. to my street address and it talked me through 700 miles of interstate and cities along the route. What a great way to get familiar with a new car and it performed flawlessly.
Since that time, 20 days now, I have driven it through 2 blizzards (both last week...22 inches of snow in the first one) here in Colorado and am completely amazed at how well it does in adverse weather conditions.
The decision to purchase this car was not completely uninitiated as I previously owned a 1999 Acura CL 3.0 that I bought brand new, fantastic car, plenty fast and got about 32 per gal with Sonic spark plugs, put 260K on it before giving it to my son in-law the day before picking up the ZDX.
Sooo, I'm into July now and the car has been amazing, lots of acceleration when you put your foot in it, completely flat around curves, better keep an eye on those bind spot detectors, would be tough to navigate without them, as pointed out by others.
Just drove to the Black Hills via Guernsey Res in WY. Car handled flawlessly on the highway, got to do a little 4 wheeling at the res, pulls right up hills and straddles rocks . Back on the highway and only complaint was expansion joints in old WY cement highway resurfaced with asphalt. Comfort setting did seem to make a difference.
Congrats! The ZDX is a fabulous car--rare (as you know) and underappreciated. Mine is now over five years old and people regularly come up to me in public and ask if it's a new model. I think Acura was just ahead of their time; now BMW, Mercedes, and Tesla have vehicles that look similar. Of course I'm biased, but I still think the ZDX looks the best of the bunch. Plus, I love the interior which is the best Acura effort to date (when they were trying to achieve "Tier One" status and so put forth the effort into design, construction, and materials).
And I just wanted to say that one of my previous Acuras was a 3.0CL as well, which was another "love it or hate it" styled vehicle!

The cosmetic deficiencies can all be resolved with time, a bit of money, and hard work. I told the MB dealership that it would be in their best interest to ensure MB corporate does NOT send me a survey...
