Looks about right for this time of year. I've found my TL is very sensitive to the OAT; above about 40°F a steady 75 mph will yield about 31-33 mpg, however, when the OAT drops below that point 28-29 mpg is typical.

Wow, that's low. I think the worst I've seen was during a very spirited trip through the mountains where I got like 26.

OP mpg looks legit, when I moved to TX the MPG is right around 29 but keep in mind I had alot of stuff inside the car and trunk.

wow really? I thought so too but didn't complain lol. I have almost 5000km on that reading. It starts at 26 avg then goes down to 23 when I'm flooring it all the time. Tune up is all up to date.

Interesting, I've put nearly 15,000 miles on my TL since May and my overall average, per my "Trip-B" display (which is pretty accurate) is 28 mpg.

How often do you get into the higher rpms? I feel like i do it a dozen times or more per hour. Right to 6,800.

It depends upon where I'm going and the traffic on the route,

over the summer i took my car for a 900 mile roadtrip and averaged 32 mpg with an overall average speed of about 60 mph. this was during summer as well, with an outside air temp around 60-70. my car is full bolt on and tuned. I even had a 400 mile stretch between fill-ups at one point. I only fill up with shell 93

I reset my mpg and I'm now doing avg 26 mpg. I was doing some exhaust work on the car and it's winter here so the previous reading was skewed by all the idling I did.

33 mpg highway in the summer with ~420 between fill ups (with a remaining 50 miles remaining) and around 28-29 city.

Winter normally drops me into 29-30 territory for highway and 26-27 for city.

Highway driving is always done cruising at 70-74 mph for me (~1950-2100 RPM).

For an average of 60mph yeah you should be right around 30mpg in my experience. There is this sweet spot on the TL in 6th gear from 55-60mph for mileage. Too bad I can never keep to that speed....

I've seen a wide range of MPG on the 3G TL. I got 28-30+ most of the time. Now I only get 25 at best in my 4G. 300lbs heavier, bigger motor and automatic transmission
