I lowered my car with Tein H Tech Springs, put an Obsidian Black A Spec Kit on my car (My Paint color is Abyss Blue, so it clashes nicely), SOHC Vtec Decals along the front doors, Niche Targa Wheels (which I started the trend of these wheels being popular) Stage 4 exhaust with Magnaflow 11365 mufflers, and So-Cal Dual staggered exhaust tips. Also, I plasti dipped the inner portion of my grille. I also have rally armors on (which I hate the way they look, I just have them on to protect my body kit)
My OD just rolled over to 205'000 miles and she is still going strong! I change my oil every 2'000 miles, as well as a 1X3 Trans fluid change every 2'000 miles. I only use Honda transmission fluid. Also, I change the trans filter and pressure switches every 20'000 miles.

Yup. Oil is cheap insurance to having a great running engine. Since I work at a dealership, I can buy oil and a filter and change my own oil for $15. I drive about 8'000 miles a year so I'm only spending $60 on oil a year.
I was unable to find a brand new abyss blue a spec kit, so I settles with the obsidian black kit. I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me a lot. I'm surprised I haven't seen another TL with a different colored a spec kit compared to the body.
I thought the whole point if the thread was for us to show how we make our cars unique, not to be an asshole and give unnecessary comments on how you think your right by calling a way I made my car unlike any other TL "ugly".

Yeah Black is beautiful only when its just waxed by far best color.
Next day car my car is full of dust . I miss my old Silver TL a lot. I promised myself this was the last Black car I own and ended up picking up a NBP type S this month cause it was dirt cheap.
KBP is by far the best Stand out color for a 3rd Gen TL

I gun it at every oppirtunity then weave through traffic until someone is in my way tuen i tailgate and honk until they move. Then when I park I block everyone elses car from moving.
Only thing that makes mine stand out is my plates - not many people are used to seeing the Ohio State Beekeepers Association "Save the honeybee" plates haha...
I just bought mine. Its a Nighthawk Pearl 04 base TL 6MT, with black interior. Basically stock with AEM CAI.
First thing i did was remove the 15% tint from front side windows. i couldnt see jack at night, plus cops dont play around about tint.
I got fresh Yokohama 235/45/17 advan sport A/S tires on the oem 07-08 TL base rims. which barely clears the brembos btw.
Ordered the stop tech sport brake pads and zinc coated slotted rotors about to install this week, and a new OEM side motor mount for the passenger side.
Did the oil change with Mobile1 5w-20 + mobile1 oil fliter, and trans fluid with ACdelco Synchromesh FM fluid.
But there is one thing i hate, its the tan color pinstripe that runs along the side of the car.
Anyone know how to properly remove it? i rarely seen a TL with pinstripes.

I just bought my 3G TL two months ago. So far it is lowered on tein springs ( am now waiting for my coilovers to come in). Also I have just purchased Aodhan DS01 wrapped in Nokian ZLine A/S. Lowering my car and putting wider wheels with an aggressive offset would make my car stand out. As of right now it is completely different to all of the other TL's I've seen near me.
