I wonder if it'll be ktuner or others like COBB and APR that'll tackle safe and easy tunes to net 80 ft/lb for $500...
and OMG, if Honda embraces that shit and doesn't void warranties. A LOT of enthusiasts will give it a whirl.

Drove my 2.0T this morning and man...once the exhaust is hot...that burst of turbo from like 4 to 5.5K...what a fun driving car. Yes, J series is linear yada yada...but it didn't really give me that fun factor like this rowing through the gears.

No doubt the 2.0T Accord is more engaging than the Camry.

But the Pano roof, quad pipes, red interior of the Camry are so nice! Can't believe we are talking about a CAMRY and not a BMW M car!

I want to hate them.
I saw one the other day and didn't hate it.
I looked down and I had on striped socks up to my knees, the morning funnys and a ticket to a matinee show in my hands.

Still slower than an Accord

Local Costco has the red sport Infiniti coupe and 2 of the XSE quad pipe/red interior camry on display on the front. On saturday, the camry was surrounded as if it was a Pagani, and there were no one around the Infiniti.

I love how TOyota/Lexus these days gives option of face.

You can get ugly lowly Camry face, or sporty XSE face.

You can get girly Limited Chrome 4Runner face, or you can get aggressive 4 Runner face. Same on the Lexus F sport.

Choices are good for consumers

Not to mention, it allows you to have the superior model that stands out...it's annoying when a higher trim level gets you heated mirrors and a built in hard drive.

Lol. Figured I'd post that since I have a bunch of people talking about the Camry looking better than the Accord. Hahaha. A little off topic. But figured I'd stomp that fire out before anyone says anything about it. Lol.

5G TL

after getting the loaner and seeing the first lowered on wheels with exhaust aspec (lips, not entire new bumper like now) TLX...I called it the natural progression of the 3G TL.
If only it came in manual.

True question is, if you put a 2.0T 6MT in the new TLX, will old TLX owners buy them? What if you put the 2.0T10AT in the new TLX, will old TLX owners buy them?

Or will they boycott Acura all together, for lack of v6?

I wish people would stop calling the TLX the "5th gen TL"

It really shits on the TL nameplate, for cars that used to be damn good.

TLX baby
TLX = Epic Fail.

Why?

The TLX is missing that ever important third pedal under the dash.

Someone gonna come up in here and say M/T are overrated... Autos are much better.
Then we dig up a post of his that says.. I don't know how to drive a manual.

Then he'll post articles that say autos are quicker
Then we'll post the ZL1 1LE 'ring lap

Rich TL owners got angry that the name got diluted.

Us poor TSX owners got happy, that we got merged with them.

TLX= can't make anyone happy?

oh yes, he has a file on you too, bud.
I think the TLX seems like it should have followed the 3G TL. Similar lines etc...
either way, I don't hate the TLX at all. I'm just cheap.

Lol!!

I love the TLX. I actually plan to get one in a couple years. The TL I have now is gonna be supercharged and I don't want to daily that. Plus I plan to have it paid off in a couple years too. The TLX will get a drop and wheels. That'll be it. Who knows. I might go for the whole stance/fitment thing with the TLX for the DD and aggressive fitment on the TL. We shall see.

Is the TLX faster or slower than the Accord?

As long as they don't screw up the 4G MDX, it's unlikely that I'll boycott the brand.

As for the TLX, if Honda goes 2.0T then let's just say I'll reconsider my Nissan/Infiniti roots. RS400 or 3.0T Sport maybe, outside possibility on an IS350. (Before any chimes in, not interested in the Germans. )

I thought that was implicit. If not, I might have mentioned the ITR.
