My brother would be getting the V6 GC. So no, it wouldn't be very fast. He keeps wanting something economical but he can't stand hybrids or small cars.

Drives his lifted Taco like a grandma. I can shift at 2.5k with barely -there throttle input, using my 4-cyl that has barely-there torque and pass him up.

Anyway, scat pack!!!

Don't think you can get a lifetime warranty on the scat pack only the 125k mile warranty.

Depends on the dealer. Certain ones offer certain things.

Seriously can't rave enough about this car. It is an absolute beast to drive. Can easily putt along or just romp 485hp out to the ground. Worth every frickin penny.

Compliments, looks and stares were almost uncomfortable before the tint. It was awkward sitting at a light and watching someone just stare at the car.

Love this thing.

Interesting. May have to check this out. I called there 1800 number through the Mopar site and they said no to all hemis. Was interested in a SRT Challenger/SRT Charger, but wanted the lifetime warranty.

The absolutely have it, I just checked. Also, don't go through that site or number. There are dealerships that sell the warranties through online storefronts for much cheaper, that's how I got mine and it was $1200 less than my selling dealership was quoting.

Lifetime Maxcare (unlimited miles and time) with $200 deductible:
Charger: $2600
Charger SRT: $3200
Charger Hellcat: Lifetime not available, 8yr/125k for $4090

Sometimes you can get a discount code for an extra hundred or two off if you ask nicely. Also, there are multiple dealerships that sell online and compete with each other. Shop around for the best price and don't hesitate to email and ask one to beat the other. There's huge markup on these things so they are willing to move.

Edit to add website I used for quotes: www.chryslerwarrantydirect.com
website I actually bought from (prices are different, worse, from above): http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com

This is the FCA Maxcare, not a third party warranty. It's the only one I'd really consider getting as it's valid at every dealer no questions asked.

Curious, what had they given you for the Accord?
Very nice looking car, I think they did such a great job with the redesign of the headlights and tails. I used to ONLY like the Challenger but as time has gone on, I find myself looking more at the Charger. Especially given the practicality of four doors. I also always thought SRT or bust, but apparently I don't know shit because 458HP sounds more than adequate. I sat in one of my neighbor's hellcats and was very impressed with the sound of the exhaust and fit and finish and all the electronics of a Dodge. Still happy with the Caddy, but this is definitely a nice option.

Congrats again.

I was able to get $20,000 in trade for the Accord

the Scatpack has the SRT driveline (6.4L/ZF8spd) and the previous gen SRT brakes (4 piston Brembo instead of the new 6 pistons)

uConnect is the same

SRT wheels are 20x9.5... Scatpack are 20X9

This is seriously a ton of car for the money... and that's not even considering the fun factor.

20k trade in is pretty good.

For the Accord? Put it up on the Accord Facebook classifieds, I'm sure someone will snag it. Or put it up for sale on DriveAccord.

I worked on a Challenger Scat Pack interior before. Was in the passenger seat for the canyon run for the photoshoot. The car pulls like a train.

Such a comfy car too. Congrats again!

Had it out on the Turnpike today. Jesus, this ZF8spd is no joke. The shifts are literal supercar quick and the throttle blip/rev match on down shifts is just awesome.

I cant even begin to estimate how quick these shifts are.

Yup, the ZF8 is one of the first automatics in a long time that made me think, wow, this is perfect.

Every ZF8-equipped vehicle I've been in and driven never felt like it needed to hunt for gears. Shifts were buttery smooth, and in sport mode, very fast.

Odd. Checked the site and doesn't give me the ability to.

I drive city streets but I'm averaging about 28 just in the city.

I drove 700 round trip on the highway a couple months back, filled up twice and was averaging close to 40. My friend that has a civic averages 44 on the highway

Not enough. The answer is always not enough. Even if he was using every last available pony in there, still not enough

you don't buy 425hp and worry about fuel mileage... It's all about that smiles per gallon

Pffff... 2018 Mustang GT will now come with 460hp, stock, out of the 5.0L

i cant believe it that even ten years ago, Ford was struggling to push more than 300hp out of their V8. Now it's not even a starting point for them. We really are living in a good age, when it comes to horsepower.

Dude...ever time I see a vossen stanced 2015+ go by...
Seriously nice car.
But if it's built like my work truck...I'd pass.

Yeah, I'm the other asshole worried about MPG in a muscle car, so I don't judge.
