Dear god I missed out on like 10 pages of super insightful conversation bullshit. 
The boy was all "ugh fuck work and DC I haven't gone anywhere this summer and need to do a weekend away" on Tuesday afternoon so I texted him back and was like "we'll leave Saturday morning, keep the weekend open, I gotchu."
Taking the M3 'vert a few hours south to hit up some wineries and good restaurants in Charlottesville. Final winery of the day has a live folk band which we're pretty pumped for. There's also some sort of alt-right/vaguely KKK rally in downtown Charlottesville on Saturday, which we are less pumped for.
In any case, he goes "well this all sounds like a dream, A+ planning skills" - so yay I did a good job.

Thoiboi whored it up at the Depot again.. went off to return the drywall cutout tool and decided to walk around and see what I could find.. they were having a promo where you buy the Flexvolt circular saw, grinder, or recip saw and get a jig saw, Non -Brushless high impact , Flexvolt battery or worksite radio for FWEEEE! I already have a bunch of batteries and have a free radio from the last time I went and the sexier DCF889, so jig saw it is

Bought this festoon sander for $99 when they had that fire sale on slickdeals that everyone went crazy about. Excited to finally get to use it (gonna sand the drywall ) had to buy a Bosch vacuum hose on Amazon so it would attach to my Craftsman shop vac.

things have been... interesting....
company restructuring, got laid of at start of June. been doing the job hunt thing since. Waiting on a few offers around the country and have an interview in Austin this week.
Crappy situation, completely unexpected for half the office here, industry is slow all around.
Been trying to finish all the house projects I started before this happened so we can rent it if needs be.
So no computer or phone etc so that explains the vanishing act.
Figured I'd stick my head in and see how you all were.

well i have one possible role in Austin for one company, and if this other interview goes well this week I hope to get an offer.
waiting on an offer in Florida, and one more here in DFW.
it's a hurry up and wait game....interviews a month ago then folks on vacation, then others waiting on this person or that person.
it's killing me. been playing A LOT of hot wheels. And I still have Agnes, she never sold, guess God had it planned that way...
